    • This is a remote role open to candidates residing in any of PDQ's open states (*see below for a list).

The Director, Growth Marketing will lead the strategy and execution of acquisition, demand generation, and customer marketing to achieve PDQ’s pipeline and revenue goals. This is a highly cross-functional role, requiring both creative and analytical thinking in partnership with leaders across Marketing, Sales, Rev Ops, Customer Success, and Product. The Director, Growth Marketing will oversee the marketing-owned customer journey touchpoints for acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across all products.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and execute growth marketing strategies for all products aligned with business objectives, leveraging data-driven insights and market trends to optimize performance across all channels.
  • Own the marketing pipeline, overseeing lead generation, qualification, and conversion processes to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across new logo, cross-sell, self-serve, and sales-assisted motions.
  • Oversee Growth Marketing owned customer journey touchpoints - including email, digital, paid media and events - bringing together cohesive experiences and nurture programs to move prospects through the funnel.
  • Act as a key liaison between leadership groups, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Revenue, Revenue and Marketing Operations, Product, and Finance to ensure alignment of Growth Marketing strategies with overall business goals, objectives, and critical initiatives.
  • Lead the integration of AI and automation into the growth marketing function – enabling teams to scale experimentation, optimize performance, and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance across all Growth Marketing channels, leveraging data-driven insights to drive improvements in conversion rates, customer engagement, retention, and ROI.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Growth Marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget with senior leadership, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI and drive scalable growth.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and leadership on key performance metrics, growth initiatives, and market trends.
  • Lead quarterly and annual planning for the Growth Marketing teams, setting quarterly and monthly pipeline targets for each product in partnership with Revenue team leadership.

We're looking for people who have:

  • Ownership: You take responsibility for projects, drive results, and deliver on commitments.
  • Honesty: You demonstrate integrity, transparency, and ethical behavior in all interactions.
  • Collaboration: You work effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a culture of teamwork.
  • Improvement: You continuously seek opportunities for growth, innovation, and personal development.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Results-driven with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

We're looking for people who have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of B2B growth experience at a SaaS or technology company
  • A proven track record of building and leading demand generation and customer marketing programs that consistently meet or exceed pipeline targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team focused on revenue growth and customer acquisition in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of paid media strategy and performance across search and social channels, with experience overseeing execution through direct reports.
  • Deep experience across the full demand marketing mix - paid media, email, SEO, website, and emerging channels like AEO - with the ability to connect channel performance to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
  • Experience in pipeline management and revenue attribution modeling.
  • Demonstrated AI literacy with experience leading AI-driven transformation across the marketing organization to drive efficiency, targeting precision, and ROI.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
