Responsibilities
- Define and lead the strategic development of the Americas marketing plan that aligns with the broader business objectives and growth targets, across Enterprise, Strategic and Commercial, Public Sector, and LATAM. Be a champion, and the voice for the Americas in shaping marketing strategies with global and centralised teams
- Act as a unifying force across marketing, forging deep interlocks with global Demand Gen, Channel, Brand and international peers to drive cohesive, high impact initiatives that resonate across all Americas customer segments and regions
- Drive Americas-wide alignment with sales, product, channel and customer success leadership, acting as a strategic business partner to unlock new growth levers, and drive shared accountability for pipeline and revenue goals
- Lead, coach and scale a high-performing team covering field marketing, ABM, virtual events/webcasts, and regional initiatives; Create a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability that inspires creativity and executional rigor
- Oversee the evolution of field marketing as a strategic growth engine, optimising integrated campaigns, in-market activations and sales collaboration to accelerate demand and deepen customer engagement across the Americas
- Own the Americas regional ABM strategy to drive targeted outreach, engagement, and conversion for high-value accounts, leveraging intent data and building high-performance playbooks to drive pipeline
- Own the strategy and execution of Rapid7's virtual events and webcasts, ensuring they drive engagement, education, and lead generation. Optimize the digital experience to create meaningful interactions with prospects and customers.
- Develop tailored marketing strategies for the Public Sector and LATAM regions to address specific market needs and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with regional sales teams to drive growth and awareness in these key verticals.
- Establish and manage a comprehensive performance framework, setting clear KPIs and creating a culture of accountability and impact through analysis, optimisation and shared insights
- Ensure brand and message consistency across all Americas marketing efforts, grounded in a deep understanding of Rapid7's platform, customer challenges and competitive landscape. Champion marketing's role in amplifying customer value
- Lead budget planning and investment strategy for the Americas, ensuring efficient allocation of resources that balances immediate pipeline goals with long term brand and market development
- Serve as a cultural leader who fosters inclusion, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose-leading by example to cultivate a high-performing, values-driven marketing team.
The skills you'll bring include:
- 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or field marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in cybersecurity, SaaS, or B2B tech marketing is highly preferred.
- Proven success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies across a variety of functions (field, ABM, digital, etc.).
- Experience in Public Sector marketing and working with LATAM regions is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best performance.
- Exceptional collaboration skills to work with sales, product, and senior leadership teams.
- Ability to think strategically while maintaining a focus on execution and measurable results.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making and campaign optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present ideas, strategies, and results to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, etc.), CRM tools (Salesforce), and web analytics platforms.
- Deep understanding of demand generation, lead nurturing, and pipeline management.
