About the role:

Crunchyroll is building the global home for anime — and as we continue to scale, we are looking for a Director, Global Talent Acquisition (Corporate) to lead our non-technical recruiting efforts worldwide.

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will oversee a global team of corporate recruiters and serve as a strategic partner to senior business leaders and Human Resources Business Partners. You will help shape how we deliver thoughtful, consistent, and scalable hiring across corporate functions in a high-growth environment.

  • Experience leading corporate recruiting in technology, media, entertainment, or comparable growth environments.

  • Strong partnership experience with senior leaders and HR in complex organizations.
  • Experience with recruiting process design and governance.
  • Comfort operating in evolving, growth-oriented environments.
  • Experience applying data and analytics to inform recruiting strategy.
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills.
  • Curiosity about digital media, fandom culture, and the evolving entertainment landscape.
What You'll Do:Lead & Support a Global Corporate Recruiting Team
  • Lead and develop a global team of corporate recruiters.
  • Establish clear expectations around partnership, accountability, and delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative environment grounded in trust and shared ownership.
  • Support high-quality hiring while balancing speed and discipline.
Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment
  • Serve as a primary Talent Acquisition partner to senior corporate leaders.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to align hiring strategies with workforce priorities.
  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable hiring plans.
  • Lead executive and high-impact searches with professionalism and discretion.
Process Clarity & Consistency
  • Help shape interview documentation standards and decision frameworks to support consistent hiring practices.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Operations to ensure smooth approvals, prioritization, and lifecycle flow.
  • Maintain global process alignment while respecting regional nuance.
  • Encourage structured debrief and decision-making consistency across corporate functions.
Talent Strategy & Market Alignment
  • Ensure corporate hiring strategies reflect current market dynamics and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards and HR leadership to navigate compensation considerations thoughtfully.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance sourcing effectiveness and hiring insights.
  • Partner with the Director, Talent Attraction & Employer Brand to support proactive pipeline development and employer visibility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Director, Talent Acquisition – Technology to ensure alignment in standards and operating rhythm.
  • Contribute to broader Talent Acquisition strategy discussions.
  • Ensure corporate recruiting integrates seamlessly into our global TA structure.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
