MinIO is the industry leader in high-performance object storage and the company behind the world’s fastest, most widely deployed object store, powering production infrastructure for more than half of the Fortune 500, including 9 of the 10 largest global automakers and all 10 of the largest U.S. banks. Our enterprise offering, AIStor, is engineered to handle the scale, speed, and pressure of modern AI and analytics, from terabytes to exabytes, all in a single namespace.

The GSI Partner Sales Director is a senior-level role responsible for building, managing, and scaling strategic partnerships with leading Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, HCL, and others. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of alliance management, global co-selling models, and enterprise technology sales—particularly within the data storage or cloud infrastructure space.

What You Will Do
  • Own and expand strategic relationships with top-tier GSIs to drive joint revenue, global pipeline, and solution integration.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive joint business plans, including go-to-market initiatives, solution development, and field enablement.
  • Align GSI partner strategies with global enterprise sales and marketing objectives.

Revenue & Pipeline Ownership

  • Drive partner-influenced and partner-led revenue globally across all relevant verticals and regions.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams and partners on strategic opportunities and global account planning.
  • Establish quarterly business reviews and reporting on pipeline, forecast, and revenue performance.

Solution Development & Enablement

  • Work with GSIs to develop repeatable, scalable joint solutions and service offerings built on MinIO’s technology.
  • Enable GSI sales and technical teams through training, certifications, and joint marketing campaigns.
  • Support co-innovation efforts that align with industry-specific needs (e.g., financial services, public sector, healthcare).

Executive Relationship Management

  • Build executive-level relationships within GSI partner organizations, as well as within MinIO's leadership team.
  • Act as the global point of contact for GSI alliances, ensuring alignment across functions and geographies.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with product, marketing, sales, legal, and customer success to deliver on partner goals.
  • Advocate for partner needs and jointly drive competitive positioning, enablement, and strategic messaging.
Your Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in alliance management, strategic partnerships, or global sales roles within enterprise technology.
  • Proven success building and scaling strategic partnerships with GSIs across global markets.
  • Deep understanding of data storage, hybrid cloud, or infrastructure technologies.
  • Strong executive presence and experience influencing C-level decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute global business plans and drive revenue accountability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work across time zones and cultures with strong cross-functional coordination.
  • Willingness to travel globally (up to 30–40%).
  • Existing relationships with senior leaders at major GSIs such as Accenture, Capgemini, TCS, or Deloitte.
  • Experience in storage, data management, or cloud-native technology environments.
  • Familiarity with partner programs, global deal registration, and alliance metrics/KPIs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
