About You

Xsolla is seeking an experienced SEO leader with a proven track record of building and executing full-stack SEO strategies at a global scale. The person most successful in this role will bring a unique blend of technical expertise, content strategy acumen, and leadership skills — able to balance data-driven decision-making with creative storytelling that elevates a brand’s voice.

The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of technical architecture, on-page optimization, and content innovation, ensuring that SEO is always aligned with both business goals and user intent. They are comfortable owning the end-to-end SEO vision for a high-profile digital platform, influencing not only how it’s built but also how millions engage with it worldwide.

This person has successfully led SEO initiatives for enterprise-level sites, partnering across product, design, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver measurable growth. Beyond tactical execution, they think strategically about the future of search, emerging trends, and how to position a global B2B brand for long-term visibility and success.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a full-stack SEO strategy supporting global awareness, lead generation, and revenue goals.
  • Lead SEO planning for the xsolla.com re-launch and our entire web presence, ensuring technical excellence and a future-ready architecture.
  • Champion SEO across departments, embedding it into Product, Engineering, Content, and Design workflows.
  • Oversee site architecture, crawlability, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and international SEO including localization and culturalization.
  • Lead large-scale migrations, URL mapping, link building, and hreflang implementations for multilingual markets.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO performance is engineered into the site from day one.
  • Drive content strategies for high-value B2B, B2C, SaaS, and e-commerce keywords.
  • Ensure all copy follows Xsolla’s Shadow Hero voice — positioning the audience as the hero, not us.
  • Partner with Creative, Product Marketing, and Paid Media teams to develop SEO-rich landing pages, case studies, and product hubs.
  • Define and track KPIs tied to organic traffic, engagement, lead quality, and revenue impact.
  • Use GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and other tools to monitor and improve performance.
  • Translate complex SEO metrics into actionable business insights for leadership that includes but not limited to accountability for YoY organic traffic growth, lead quality improvements, and measurable revenue attribution through organic channels.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 8+ years SEO experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing enterprise-level, multilingual websites.
  • Proven results in B2B, SaaS, and e-commerce SEO.
  • Expertise in technical SEO, site migrations, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Strong grasp of content marketing, conversion optimization, and analytics.
  • Experience leading SEO during high-profile website re-launches.
  • Comfort working with headless CMS and JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js).
  • A strategic yet hands-on approach — able to set vision and get into the details when needed.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
