We run as one globally aligned Source-to-Pay (“S2P”) organization: Sourcing leaders apply strategic business partnerships, category strategies, and sourcing discipline, while Operations, Programs, COE and Digital S2P teams enable scale, quality, innovation, and agility across the full lifecycle, including business travel, employee expense, and payables.

We aspire to be a world-class, stakeholder-aligned, digitally transforming source-to-pay capability that maximizes total business value, reduces risk and friction, and improves the end-to-end user experience. Our priorities include delivering margin expansion, speed to value, risk management, digital transformation, and empowering our team through skill and career growth.

You will be a member of the Global Procurement & AP leadership team, a key influencer towards modernizing the function, and a trusted partner to senior leaders in Technology, Customer Service, Finance and Legal.

In This Role You Will:

  • Set the multi-year category strategy for Technology, AI and Contact Center spend, delivering savings, cost avoidance, working capital improvements, and margin expansion
  • Sponsor and steer transformation such as tooling, AI enablement and new operating models, with documented business outcomes rather than activity
  • Lead negotiation of strategic contracts and partnerships, including crucial AI agreements and long-term strategies with a high bar for terms, risk and renewals.
  • Build strong relationships and partnerships with senior stakeholders and strategic vendors, and drive 360-degree vendor decision-making
  • Turn enterprise strategy into clear category strategies and roadmaps, and explain trade-offs to executives
  • Role model the use of agentic AI and automation in sourcing work, championing adoption of emerging and autonomous agentic workflows to deliver success for business leaders and team members across the Source-to-Pay roadmap
  • Builds a layer of capable managers and senior individual contributors, so the team is highly empowered and engaged. You lead by setting goals, coaching, and building future leaders
  • Represent Global Procurement & AP with Finance, Legal, Technology and business leaders, helping shape the function's priorities and measures of success

Experience and Qualifications

  • Deep category expertise in technology, software, cloud, AI or contact center sourcing, and a record of delivering measurable savings, vendor innovation, and risk reduction
  • Proven record of strategic category management: building a stakeholder community, multi-year roadmaps, category strategies, and meaningful financial returns (savings, cost avoidance, revenue)
  • Proven skill negotiating large, complex agreements and managing strategic vendor relationships
  • Experience leading high-performing teams as both a line manager and a subject authority
  • Ability to turn innovative ideas into practice, using AI and automation in sourcing, negotiation and contract workflows. You inspire and lead modernized sourcing outcomes in partnership with data, process excellence, and agentic frameworks.
  • Advanced leadership and decision-making skills, strong communication and influence with senior executives, and the ability to role model adaptive leadership capacity in a swiftly changing industry and business environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 8+ years of experience that substantially includes people management

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
