RegScale is a continuous controls monitoring (CCM) platform purpose-built to deliver fast and efficient GRC outcomes. We help organizations break out of the slow and expensive realities that plague legacy GRC tools by bridging security, risk, and compliance through controls lifecycle management. By leveraging CCM, organizations experience massive process improvements like 90% faster certification times, and 60% less audit prep time. Today’s expansive security and compliance requirements can only be met with a modern, CCM based approach, and RegScale is the leader in that space.

Position:

The Director of Global Field Marketing is a leadership role responsible for building and scaling RegScale’s field marketing function while remaining deeply hands-on in execution. This is a player–coach role for an experienced B2B cybersecurity SaaS marketer who knows how to design global field strategy, execute high-impact programs, and build teams that scale with growth.

This leader will manage the current Field Marketing Manager and progressively hire additional field, partner, and channel marketing team members as the business expands globally. The Director will own global field marketing planning, execution, and results across North America initially, expanding into EMEA and other regions over time. In addition, this role will own partner and channel marketing, ensuring partner-led field activity aligns with sales priorities and global go-to-market strategy.

This role reports to the VP of Marketing and is expected to travel up to 40%.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the global field marketing function with full accountability for field-sourced and field-influenced pipeline.
  • Develop and execute a global field marketing strategy aligned to revenue goals, while enabling regional flexibility.
  • Manage and coach the existing Field Marketing Manager, establishing clear priorities, expectations, and performance standards.
  • Design the future-state field marketing organization and hire additional team members as the business scales globally.
  • Personally led and executed high-impact field initiatives, including major cybersecurity conferences, executive dinners, regional events, roadshows, and webinars.
  • Own end-to-end execution of field programs — including logistics, vendor management, budgets, contracts, timelines, and post-event analysis.
  • Partner closely with global and regional sales leadership to align territory-level initiatives, pipeline targets, and success metrics.
  • Measure program performance and continuously optimize field strategy based on data and sales feedback.
  • Collaborate with channel/partner leader to design and execute joint field campaigns and partner-led events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with cybersecurity event organizers, media partners, and vendors to ensure high-quality execution and efficient global spend.

Required Qualifications:

  • Deep experience in B2B field marketing within a cybersecurity SaaS or ISV environment.
  • Established relationships with CISO-focused event vendors and channel/VAR partners (e.g., GuidePoint, Optiv, Carahsoft, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise, sales-led buying motions and how field and partner marketing support complex deal cycles.
  • Proven experience managing teams while remaining hands-on in execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to align closely with sales and measure impact via pipe and ARR.
  • Strong operational rigor — comfortable running programs end-to-end including vendors, contracts, budgets, logistics, and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel 30–40%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience scaling global field marketing teams and programs across North America and EMEA.
  • Prior ownership of partner or channel marketing in a cybersecurity SaaS environment.
  • Experience operating in high-growth SaaS companies where processes and structure are still evolving.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, WordPress, or similar.
  • Strong player–coach mindset with comfort building teams over time as performance and growth allow.

Experience & Education:

  • 10–15 years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on field and event marketing.
  • Prior experience leading global field marketing programs required.
  • Vendor references within the cybersecurity event and partner ecosystem strongly preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
