How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice: 

You will drive the ideation and execution of 360 marketing plans for core campaigns + new launches by working cross-functionally with teams including Product Development, Retail Marketing, Merchandising, Regulatory, Digital Marketing, PR, Social, Influencer, Global, Creative, Copy and Key Accounts.  

As a Director of Global Brand Marketing, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

  • Drive the entire process of 360 marketing campaigns from concept creation through execution, ensuring timely delivery, brand consistency, and measurable results. 
  • Create breakthrough campaigns that push the brand forward while maintaining the brand’s DNA. 
  • Manage the development and deployment of the launch toolkits containing campaign concept + messaging, claims, content strategy, paid media assets, in-store assets, e-commerce assets, press releases, influencer guidelines and activation concepts. 
  • Work closely with Global teams to present the global strategy for all 360s and ensure cohesion and compliance with global strategy and to drive global calendar adoption. 
  • Work closely with Creative, Product/Brand Marketing, Copy, Social, Influencer and all channel leads to ensure a cohesive and consistent consumer journey through the marketing funnel. 
  • Be the conduit across all channels to ensure clarity and consistency of timing, messaging, assets, promotions across all channels throughout the campaign. 
  • Storytell the brand point of difference. 
  • Develop creative advertising strategy to align on media direction and platforms.  
  • Partner with creative and retail marketing teams to drive brand concepting for visual merchandising. 
  • Develop clear, thoughtful and comprehensive briefs for internal and external content team to create best-in-class assets. 
  • Contribute to content creation process with clear feedback & strategic direction. 
  • Create and update the Brand Marketing calendar with all campaign activations across all marketing touchpoints and channels.  
  • Partner with regional and channel leads to develop a deep understanding of market and customer segment opportunities to create campaigns that drive revenue goals. 

The Details:

  • Location: Our headquarters are in Seattle, WA. While we have a strong preference for local candidates, we are currently considering remote applicants based on the West Coast only to align with our team's working hours and collaboration needs.
  • Hours: Pacific Time business hours, with flexibility to global time zones and extended hours as needed.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to both sit for long periods of time & handle long periods of screen time 
  • Travel requirements: Up to 10%

What you’ll bring to the table: 

  • 10+ years marketing experience.  
  • Experience working in prestige beauty, luxury or fashion industries, with a deep understanding of the skincare market.  
  • Experience with Wholesale partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Demonstrated experience in providing marketing thought leadership—taking consumer insight and using it to drive thinking and strategic decisions.

Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:

$170,000 - $200,000 USD/annually

Paula’s Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
