Vantage is looking for a Director, Global Accounts to lead how we grow and retain our enterprise client relationships. Reporting to the VP of Solutions & Delivery, you will be a dedicated member of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and own revenue growth across our existing client base, with a clear point of view on expansion and upsell. You will build deeper, more strategic relationships with our largest accounts, set the account strategy and playbook that lets us scale across regions and markets, and lead and develop the account team to deliver it.

You need to have run a multi-region account organization at a retail media network, ad tech company, or commerce platform, and to have managed managers. You should be as comfortable in an executive QBR as you are in a SOW, pricing, or billing negotiation.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Own revenue growth across our existing client base, with an expansion and upsell plan and a net revenue retention (NRR) target for every account.

  • Build deeper, more strategic relationships with our largest accounts, acting as executive sponsor and stepping in early on renewals, escalations, and negotiations.

  • Set the account strategy and playbook as we scale across regions and markets, including account plans, QBR cadence, and renewal motions.

  • Plan account coverage as the portfolio grows, so every client is well served.

  • Lead, coach, and develop the account team with a focus on revenue and relationship building.

  • Forecast account team capacity to match client growth and build the case for new hires before coverage gets stretched.

  • Lead contracting strategy with Finance and leadership, including SOW structure, pricing, change orders, and billing disputes.

  • Partner with Client Success, Launch, AdOps, Product, and Engineering so client needs shape the roadmap and delivery stays consistent across regions.

  • Report on net revenue retention, upsell, renewals, and client satisfaction to senior leadership.

  • Ability to travel within North America and internationally, up to 50% of the time.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience running a multi-region account team at a retail media network, ad tech company, or commerce platform.

  • Experience managing managers and developing account leaders.

  • A track record of net revenue retention, renewal, and upsell results across an enterprise portfolio.

  • Commercial fluency: you own SOWs, pricing, and billing disputes without needing Finance or Legal to translate.

  • Experience as a member of a senior leadership team, including planning and budgeting for a function.

  • Experience building capacity models, such as accounts per manager, account segmentation, and health scoring.

  • Credibility with senior client stakeholders, including in difficult conversations.

  • Working knowledge of retail media and commerce media platforms, enough to guide adoption and speak to the roadmap.

  • A proactive, relationship-led approach, with clear written and verbal communication to senior management.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
