Job Description

This role will translate Finance Transformation strategy into clear execution plans, governance routines, adoption plans, and sustainable finance processes across regions, segments, corporate functions, and key enterprise partners. The leader will serve as a credible finance thought partner to senior stakeholders, ensuring transformation work is grounded in how Finance runs the business, makes decisions, forecasts, reports, and drives accountability.

This is a critical leadership role for a finance professional who can connect processes, systems, data, operating model, and business outcomes while driving standardization, automation, simplification, and sustained adoption across the Finance organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead Finance Transformation PMO execution across priority workstreams, including roadmap planning, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, decisions, and executive-level status reporting.

  • Bring strong finance technical depth to transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions are grounded in FP&A, forecasting, planning, reporting, controllership, operating model, and business finance requirements.

  • Partner with regional, segment, corporate functions, commercial finance, FP&A, IT, data/analytics, and external partners to drive standardization, automation, simplification, and adoption across Finance.

  • Translate Finance Transformation priorities into clear execution plans with defined scope, owners, timing, outcomes, success metrics, and decision points.

  • Establish and maintain operating cadence and governance for key transformation initiatives, including workstream reviews, leadership updates, escalation paths, decision forums, and change control.

  • Drive change management and adoption plans that improve business ownership, stakeholder engagement, training, communications, and sustainment of new processes, tools, dashboards, models, and operating rhythms.

  • Act as a finance thought partner by challenging whether solutions are practical, scalable, decision-useful, and aligned to how Finance leaders manage the business.

  • Manage risks and dependencies across concurrent initiatives, ensuring issues are surfaced early, remediated through clear action plans, and escalated appropriately when needed.

  • Develop leadership-ready communications that connect transformation progress to finance outcomes, stakeholder adoption, and business impact.

  • Build repeatable PMO standards, scorecards, status mechanisms, and governance routines to improve transparency, prioritization, and execution consistency.

  • Support knowledge transfer, capacity planning, and continuity coverage across critical transformation workstreams.

  • Model GE HealthCare leadership behaviors, including transparency, focus, ownership, collaboration, and unyielding integrity.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A, commercial finance, corporate finance, region/segment finance, finance operations, or transformation leadership.

  • Strong understanding of finance processes, forecasting, planning cycles, reporting, business performance management, operating mechanisms, and financial decision-making.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional finance projects or transformation initiatives in a matrixed environment.

  • Proven PMO capability, including project planning, milestone tracking, governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and executive communication.

  • Demonstrated change management experience, including stakeholder engagement, adoption planning, communications, training, and sustainment.

  • Ability to partner effectively across Finance, business operations, IT, data/analytics, and external partners.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics, frame decisions, and drive alignment with senior stakeholders.

Desired Characteristics
  • Deep GE HealthCare finance experience or strong enterprise finance process knowledge across regions, segments, and corporate functions.

  • Experience in FP&A, forecasting, planning, commercial finance, corporate functions finance, or enterprise finance transformation.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, influencing, and executive communication skills.

  • Experience with financial systems and tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Business Objects, Power BI, Excel, and AI/ML-enabled finance capabilities.

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, operating cadence, follow-through, and practical change leadership.

  • Ability to influence across senior stakeholders and drive decisions in a complex, matrixed environment.

  • Finance transformation mindset with a focus on value realization, adoption, simplification, and sustainable process ownership.

We expect all employees to live and breathe our behaviors: to act with humility and build trust; lead with transparency; deliver with focus, and drive ownership –always with unyielding integrity.

Our total rewards are designed to unlock your ambition by giving you the boost and flexibility you need to turn your ideas into world-changing realities. Our salary and benefits are everything you’d expect from an organization with global strength and scale, and you’ll be surrounded by career opportunities in a culture that fosters care, collaboration, and support.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
