Job Description:

The Director of Training and Development is responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive development strategy that enhances the engagement and capabilities of financial professionals and support staff within the 1847Financial organization. This role ensures that all training and development initiatives align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and evolving client expectations.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

- Develop and implement an 1847Financial training strategy that supports advisor growth, client satisfaction, and business performance.
- Align firm level training programs with wealth management goals, including financial planning, investment advisory, and client relationship excellence.
- Partner with field leadership to identify skill gaps and future development needs.

Program Development & Delivery

- Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and resources to support financial professional success.

- Collaborate with field leadership to design and implement the financial professional onboarding and continuous training programs for financial professionals and support staff.
- Integrate preferred vendors of 1847Financial into the firm and enterprise training and development program.

- Promotion of best practices that enhance financial professional productivity and client outcomes to grow their practice.

Innovation & Culture

- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Stay current with trends in wealth management, adult learning, and digital education.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in training and development, preferably in financial services or wealth management.
- Deep understanding of financial advisory services, investment products, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale training initiatives.
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
 

Base Salary Range - $155,000-$175,000
