What are we looking for?

SentinelOne is seeking a Director of Federal Sales to lead and expand our presence across the U.S. Federal market. In this role, you’ll drive the growth of our federal business through strong leadership, strategic execution, and deep partnership with our channel ecosystem. You’ll lead a team of Federal Account Executives and be responsible for achieving revenue targets, strengthening relationships with key customers and partners, and executing against our go-to-market strategy.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, high-impact sales leader with a proven ability to motivate teams, build trusted relationships within the Federal sector, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What will you do?
  • Lead and manage the U.S. Federal sales team to achieve and exceed annual revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies that align with SentinelOne’s Federal go-to-market objectives.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent while fostering a high-performance, customer-first culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Federal customers and partners to drive adoption and customer success.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Channel, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Strengthen relationships with key channel partners.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and regular reporting on performance, pipeline, and market trends.
What skills and knowledge should you bring?
  • 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years selling into the U.S. Federal market.
  • At least 3 years leading a Federal sales team and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the Federal procurement process, partner ecosystem, and compliance requirements.
  • Executive presence and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels, including with senior government and industry leaders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and drive cross-functional alignment.

This U.S. role has a base pay range plus commissions that will vary based on the location of the candidate. The range posted here is the on-target earnings (OTE) for this position, inclusive of base salary and commissions.
