POSITION REPORTS TO: Senior Managing Director, Experience and Belonging (Seth Cohen)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Director, Experience & Belonging Operations & Executive Support is responsible for three essential team functions: providing executive-level support to the Chief of Experience and Belonging, managing team operations for the Office of Experience and Belonging, and supporting the implementation of team projects for the Office of Experience and Belonging (OEB).

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • TEAM OPERATIONS (35%): Manage and support operations and logistics for various team operations, including communications, virtual gatherings, and in-person gatherings. (40%)
  • EXECUTIVE SUPPORT (35%): Provide executive-level logistical and administrative support through calendaring, coordinating critical communication and meetings, execution of special projects, and tracking and submitting expenses and activities for the Chief of Experience and Belonging and leadership team (if needed).     
  • TEAM PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION (25%): Support operations and logistics for various team projects and engagements, including: communications, project management, data insights, and reporting, facilitating virtual gatherings, and in-person gatherings as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned (i.e., Selection interviews) (5%)

A WEEK IN THE LIFE

You will meet with the Chief of Experience and Belonging to review priorities for the week, month, and quarter and discuss upcoming meetings, including work that needs to be accomplished toward team and org-wide priorities. You will have a pulse on upcoming team meetings and all staff engagements, and help support the planning or implementation by getting meetings on the calendar, preparing the agenda, and/or preparing the deck for the meeting. You will also meet and coordinate with various team members to create belonging-centered communications and support staff engagement experiences and related projects.

You balance attention to technical detail with an adaptive approach to anticipating and solving problems. YOUR EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role (minimum qualifications):

  • At least 2 years of demonstrated executive-level support (calendaring, meeting notes, expense, reimbursements, small projects, etc.)
  • Strong operational systems and tools to manage time and maximize communication flow across the team and through staff communications
  • The ability to deliver messages through appropriate communication channels
  • Seamlessly managing operations and logistics for staff events and engagements (i.e., deck prep, setting agendas, setting culture, etc.)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of experience and belonging best practices for self and others
  • Working together with a team to meet and exceed measurable goals

  • You have worked in an education or non-profit setting
  • A strong motivation to constantly improve and learn from past experiences
  • A keen ability to build strong relationships with others in challenging situations
  • Strong evidence for making timely decisions and demonstrating good judgment

YOUR COMPENSATION

The applicable salary range for each U.S.-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers according to a cost of labor index in that geographic area. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. The expected salary ranges for this role are set forth below. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Tier A: $67,500 - $101,100
  • Tier B: $73,600 -  $110,200
  • Tier C: $79,700 - $119,300
