Why We're Hiring

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Events Marketing to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our event marketing initiatives, including social and community management, email, media partnerships, media buying, influencer partnerships, street team, video recaps, marketing pre, during, and post events, collaboration with internal teams, and more. This role is responsible for marketing our wide range of live events, including, but not limited to conferences, trade shows, product launches, sponsorships, customer summits, and experiential campaigns, including, but not limited to ComplexCon, Family Style Food Festivals, integrated experiences - like Super Bowl, and F1), international and other expansion initiatives. Expected to attend all major tentpole events and festivals.

What You'll Do

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for large-scale events such as festivals, concerts, and high-profile experiences. Create strategies that align with event objectives, maximizing ticket sales and fan engagement. Coordinate marketing with artists, talent and brand fan and customer databases, and social promotion.
  • Branding & Positioning: Shape the overall marketing and branding strategy for the event, ensuring all messaging, visuals, and activations reflect the event’s unique identity and appeal to targeted demographics.
  • Digital & Social Media Marketing: Leverage integrated marketing mix that may include experience with digital platforms, social media, OOH, radio and emerging technologies to promote events and engage audiences. Collaborate with digital teams to create content, run paid campaigns, and manage social media influencers and brand partnerships.
  • Partnership & Sponsorship Activation & Execution: Collaborate with external partners, including sponsors, media outlets, PR and talent agencies, to execute co-branded marketing initiatives. Manage relationships with key sponsors and influencers to amplify event visibility.
  • Experiential Marketing: Oversee event activations, brand experiences, and on-site promotions that enhance fan engagement, creating lasting memories for attendees both before, during, and after the event.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Use data-driven insights to measure campaign performance, analyze trends, and refine marketing strategies. Provide regular updates and post-event reports to leadership, showcasing ROI and key success metrics.
  • Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets for events, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns, advertising, content creation, and partnerships. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with event, PR and communications, digital marketing, CRM, finance, creative, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives. Support the development of marketing collateral, ticketing systems, and event-related logistics.
  • Event Promotion & Fan Experience: Engage with fans via online communities, social media, and on-site activations to elevate the fan experience and build excitement leading up to the event.

Who You Are

  • 8-10 years of experience in event marketing, including leadership of large-scale events.
  • Proven track record of developing successful event strategies and executing across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments, ideally in B2B SaaS, tech, or related industries.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot).
  • Ability to travel as required (20–40%).
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with ticketing platforms, CRM systems, and event management tools.
  • Knowledge of event logistics and how marketing strategies align with production and on-site experiences.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) is a plus.
