Role
• Ensures corporate strategic initiatives and/or business plans.• Establish goals and priorities in conjunction with leadership team, monitors executions and identifies risks and opportunities• Collaborate to determine annual target and objectives with the different business areas.• Evaluates complex strategic initiatives, facilitating, influencing and contributing to design.• Assess the economic landscape of key markets in the Division, and articulate how it will influence MasterCard's business and key account objectives.• Draws insights from a broad range of industries and/or markets and reflecting them into solutions and strategies.• Provides strategic and analytical support for business planning initiatives through interaction with team leaders. • Understand of key initiatives, their drivers, determine progress and any adjustment of strategy implementation.• Leads complex cross-functional projects or teams across markets.• Promote accountability from support areas on key projects/initiatives (Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Customer Delivery, Product, Services etc.)• Lead the Division's Quarterly Business Review (QBR) preparation and execution.• Promote in depth understanding of account P&Ls, with the objective to prioritize efforts on financially accretive activities.• Ensures strategic executions through governance models, business reviews and implementation plans.
All About You• Bachelor in Business Administration, or Economics; MBA a Plus.• Strong leadership skills.• Excellent analytical skills:
o Comfortable obtaining business insights from ambiguous and incomplete datasets o Proficient manipulating large datasets, and combining unrelated data sources.
o Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Access and Visual Basic a plus.• Extensive experience in a financial planning and/or strategy role.• Strong sense of urgency, comfortable operating in a fast paced environment.• Customer focused, team player, and problem solver.• Ability to build and to maintain relationships at multiple levels of the organization.• Fluent in Spanish and English.
