Swayable is a fast-growing, cloud analytics product that measures public opinion and the impact of messages and advertising content on it. We are a 35-person team backed by top technology and social impact investors, including Y Combinator. Clients include major consumer-facing brands (Amazon, Airbnb, Square, Paramount Pictures), technology companies (Meta, Google), researchers (MIT, Yale, Stanford) and mission-aligned civic advocacy campaigns (e.g. on climate, human rights and elections).

Joining Swayable means being on a team whose work changes the course of history. The technology we develop is at the leading edge of transforming some of the world’s most important campaign organizations and enterprises: combatting disinformation, protecting democracy, and supporting the sustainable growth of consumer-facing brands.

We’re looking for an experienced, highly motivated Enterprise Sales Director to lead efforts in securing and expanding high-value strategic accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to secure new strategic partnerships across various industries, including consumer-facing brands, tech companies, and advocacy organizations
  • Cultivate and deepen relationships with senior decision-makers within new and existing strategic accounts
  • Identify and pursue new business lines within existing strategic accounts, expanding the scope of services we provide
  • Evangelize and articulate the value of Swayable's platform to key stakeholders, tailoring solutions to meet client business objectives and needs
  • Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation, ensuring a seamless process and alignment with client goals
  • Drive consistent growth by meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets for new accounts and expanded business lines within existing accounts
  • Track and manage sales activity, pipeline, and revenue forecasts accurately using CRM tools, providing regular updates to leadership
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product and customer success, to ensure the successful onboarding and ongoing support of new clients
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of landing large, strategic accounts and expanding business within existing clients
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally with a focus on tier 1 accounts
  • Expertise in navigating complex sales processes, working with C-suite executives and senior leaders
  • Strong ability to think strategically, with a deep understanding of client needs and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • A demonstrated ability to deliver against sales targets in a competitive and fast-paced environment
  • Credibility with both marketing and insights/analytics managers
Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in SaaS, market research, or analytics sales is a plus
  • Strong network of relationships with decision-makers at Fortune 500 companies or top marketing agencies
About You:
  • Motivated by Swayable’s mission to create measurable impact through data-driven decisions
  • A consultative, solution-oriented approach to sales
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously

Compensation: $150-190K base, depending on location and experience.

Location: Swayable is based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, but we are open to remote

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
