The Enterprise Applications Director, will focus on managing multiple applications delivery teams across the Cox Enterprises' ecosystem. The Director will work closely with a portfolio of customers to analyze, design, develop, and implement solutions that meet the needs of the business. The Director will ensure successful implementation of applications in the portfolio by owning all aspects of the delivery framework. This includes managing deliverables, resources, status, and anticipated solution value across multiple functions, departments, and divisions. In addition, this role will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the delivery framework.

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $144,900.00 - $241,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Responsibilities:
Leadership & Customer Relations
- Perform as the primary technology and delivery leader for the Corporate Business Shared Services application team.
- Partner with CEI Portfolio team to build a joint IT/Business roadmap that enables future strategic initiatives.
- Secure appropriate executive support for corporate application visions and associated initiatives.
- Ensure the continued success of CEI Portfolio helping to build an IT organization capable of efficiently and effectively supporting the business' technology and information needs.
- Work with other IBT leaders to improve relationships between and communications with user groups including establishment of effective resource capacity management, change control, release management and escalation procedures.
- Commit to building and maintaining an agile, growth minded, team with diverse experiences and perspectives. Grow team competencies to adapt to new business models, technologies, and processes.
Financial and Capacity Management
- Partner with CEI Portfolio team to align expected business outcomes with IT initiatives and capacity.
- Collaborate with Product team to prioritize initiatives within available capacity to ensure high value efforts are completed within budget.
Vendor & Program Management
- Ensure the effectiveness and efficiencies of stakeholders' technology support by taking technical ownership of information needs and technology requests, reviewing possible vendor & in-house solutions and recommending solid technical architectures for meeting aggregate business needs.
- Balance employee and vendor resources within authorized budget and resource capacities to achieve customer program goals and objectives.
Technology Management
- Ensure stable, yet innovative, Information Technology Platforms by assessing and modernizing the current applications, frameworks, personnel, processes, and organizational structures.
- Ensure the success of application initiatives by establishing a flexible and responsive agile development, testing, training, support processes and procedures.
Job Qualifications - Experience/Education/Training:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a related field; or 14 years' experience in a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in a management or leadership role.
- Candidates must have at least 10+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in Information Technology, with at least 8+ years of experience managing delivery teams and 8+ years leading technology initiatives in a rapidly changing environment.
- Proven ability to develop, implement and enforce Agile delivery methodologies including leading and motivating teams.
- Successful background in implementing and integrating custom, SaaS, and cloud solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies and tools.
- Experience in resource capacity planning.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in management or information technology or
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or other related discipline and/or relevant work experiences.
- Training in advanced leadership techniques, financial management, and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of Software Delivery Lifecycle processes and milestones.
- Knowledge of and experience in implementing SaaS applications.
- Experience coordinating across organizational boundaries.
