We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable technology solutions across our supply chain functions. You bring a blend of business acumen and technical expertise, with a track record in large-scale IT project execution, allocation, supply chain optimization and most importantly demand planning.

This leadership role will drive cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, business, and IT teams, ensuring that both systems and processes align with strategic goals and deliver measurable business value. You will report to the Sr. Director, Supply Chain & Operations.

About the Job

  • Lead the delivery of supply chain technology initiatives, from strategy through execution and support.

  • Partner with product and business stakeholders to understand and translate supply chain needs into scalable technical solutions.

  • Oversee engineering teams and external partners to deliver high-quality systems using modern development practices and robust SDLC methodologies.

  • Improve core supply chain systems with a focus on scalability, resilience, and performance.

  • Ensure all solutions meet enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.

  • Develop budgets, manage vendor engagements, and allocate resources to help deliver multiple concurrent projects ensuring cost-effective delivery.

  • Be the domain expert and thought leader in supply chain technologies, trends, and best practices covering supply chain areas such as demand planning, allocation, product development

  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams to ensure visibility and insights across the supply chain.

About You

  • 10+ years of experience in technology roles, with at least 5+ years in supply chain-related functions such as demand planning, allocation, or inventory management.

  • Delivered large-scale IT projects in complex, enterprise environments.

  • Supported global supply chain business processes and how they integrate with ERP, planning, and fulfillment systems.

  • Deep familiarity with SDLC (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies) and managing cross-functional engineering teams.

  • Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, and system integration strategies

  • Exposure to planning platform and supply chain analytics tools such as Impact Analytics, o9, and exposure to SAP

  • Experience working in retail, consumer goods, or ecommerce industries.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field

This position is eligible to work remotely within the United States. Should you be located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the position will be hybrid - you will be expected in our San Francisco, CA office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $144,800-$219,300​ per yearWe may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
