You'll join our Audience organization, driving growth across our high-profile portfolio of brands in Technology, Games, and Lifestyle. We connect millions of readers globally through expert content, newsletters, and digital platforms. Our team builds distinctive, audience-led email products that engage readers and unlock commercial value. In this Los Angeles role, you'll shape our global email strategy across our premier digital brands.

In this role, you'll serve as the creative leader for Future's global email portfolio. In this role, you'll develop distinctive email products and strengthen our priority newsletter brands. You'll partner with editorial, audience, product, design, and commercial teams to turn concepts into high-performing products. Your work directly drives audience retention and commercial growth across our diverse portfolio.

What You'll Do

You will report into the SVP, Technology, Games, Audience Development & Content Strategy

  • Identify white-space opportunities for new newsletters, email-first brands, and related audience products.
  • Lead products from concept through testing, launch, and early optimization to ensure distinct market positioning.
  • Strengthen priority newsletters by refining editorial structure, cadence, voice, and reader value proposition.
  • Establish commissioning principles and editorial rhythms to help teams maintain high performance.
  • Partner with technical and product leads to align technical capabilities with creative audience experiences.
  • Advise cross-functional brand teams across Games, Technology, Homes, Wealth, and Lifestyle verticals.
What You’ll Bring
  • Professional background leading editorial, email, or audience content strategy in a digital publishing environment.
  • Background developing editorial, newsletter, or digital audience products with direct reader relationships.
  • Creative judgment with a track record of turning audience insight into product concepts.
  • Experience taking email products from proposition through launch and ongoing iteration.
  • Skill in evaluating concepts thoughtfully to refine ideas and elevate promising editorial work.
  • Ability to leverage performance metrics to guide strategic decisions alongside editorial intuition.
  • Experience partnering with designers, developers, journalists, and commercial stakeholders.

The expected range for this role is $127,000 - $150,000.

This is a hybrid role, working 2 days from the Los Angeles office.
