We are looking for an experienced, analytical Director, Digital Performance Marketing to lead Greenlight’s digital performance marketing program. This role will oversee a team of marketing managers across our digital performance marketing portfolio, be responsible for an 8-figure marketing budget, and be a senior leader on our growing customer acquisition program. You will work closely with internal & external partners to drive growth, pulling many different levers to grow your programs (new channels & ad products, optimization strategies, creative, customer journey, signal optimization, martech stack, etc.).

Our ideal candidate has a background managing digital marketing programs at scale while leading and upleveling a high performing team. You’ll need a true ownership mindset, exceptional analytical skills, and proven abilities to drive measurable impact cross-functionally. Candidates with direct Paid Social (Meta) and Search/Google AdWords experience for both web and app campaigns are highly preferred. Experience with Affiliates, YouTube, Display, Native are nice to have.

This role reports to the VP of Growth Marketing.

What you will be doing:

  • Overseeing Greenlight’s 8 figure annual digital Marketing program on Search, Social, UAC, Demand Gen, App Campaigns, Display, New Channels.
  • Leading and developing a team of three channel managers.
  • Driving impact by owning new customer growth for your channels, and the necessary roadmaps internally and cross-functionally to drive results. Your team will bring game-changing initiatives to the table, then execute.
  • You’ll own volume and efficiency forecasting and goals for the growth team, then act as a force multiplier as the team drives towards those goals daily.  Developing and refining process for your team internally and cross-functionally to reduce friction and efficiently deliver results.
  • Leading cross-functionally to optimize your acquisition funnels and build new features that drive LTV and CAC wins.
  • Driving strategic partnerships with external advertising vendors (e.g. Google, Facebook, etc.) to test new growth products and advertising tools.

What you should bring:

  • 7+ years’ experience in digital performance marketing (preferably managing paid social and/or paid search), with experience managing large performance marketing budgets towards efficiency/CAC goals.
  • A sense of comfort in data, and exceptional analytical/critical thinking skills with proven ability to leverage data to drive measurable impact on your goals.
  • An extreme ownership mindset. You proactively own your team’s goals, learn from failure and success, and constantly improve.  You thrive leading a team towards real outcomes with a “get it done” mentality.
  • 4+ years managing, up-leveling, and growing a team of marketing managers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with proven ability to influence senior cross-functional partners.
  • Experience optimizing ad funnels from impression all the way through monetization.
  • Experience owning growth forecasting and reporting to senior management.
  • Experience with both web and app campaigns, and the necessary tech stack.

Our stance on salaries:
Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive.

The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $150,000-205,000
The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $150,000-180,000
