As we continue to scale, we’re seeking a Director, Demand Planning to lead our forecasting and planning efforts and serve as the central point of ownership for how demand is understood, planned, and communicated across the business. This role is critical to ensuring demand signals are accurate, forward-looking, and tightly aligned with commercial strategy, product launches, and financial goals.

The Director, Demand Planning will own end-to-end demand forecasting and play a key role in enabling confident decision-making through clear insights, disciplined planning processes, and strong cross-functional partnership. This leader will bring structure and rigor to forecasting while remaining agile in a fast-moving environment—balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, deeply experienced in demand planning, and comfortable influencing senior stakeholders through data-driven storytelling.

What You'll Do

  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP):
  • Support the company’s S&OP process with a primary focus on demand alignment, forecast integrity, and assumption clarity.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Commercialization teams to incorporate business strategy, promotional plans, and launch timing into demand forecasts.
  • Establish, monitor, and continuously improve forecast accuracy metrics and planning performance indicators.

  • Demand Planning & Forecasting:
  • Manage and generate SKU- and account-level forecasts, meeting accuracy objectives.
  • Lead demand planning meetings with key stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, Retail) to align on forecasting strategy.
  • Evaluate and quantify new product launch forecasts using historical data and market trends.
  • Present demand scenarios, articulating base and upside plans at an account level.

  • Bring strong ownership and accountability to demand forecasting, ensuring plans are accurate, actionable, and clearly understood across the business.
  • Translate complex data, assumptions, and scenarios into clear insights that enable confident commercial and financial decisions.
  • Build trusted cross-functional partnerships and drive alignment through structured, collaborative planning forums.
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, adapting quickly as priorities, launches, and market dynamics evolve.
  • Continuously improve forecasting processes, tools, and metrics to support scale and long-term growth.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or other related field. 
  • 8+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or S&OP
  • Beauty or CPG industry experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with experience translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional meetings, drive accountability, and align teams around planning decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to senior leadership.
  • Highly adaptable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills: ability to manipulate large data sets, use advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
  • PowerPoint expertise: ability to distill complex analyses into clear, executive-ready presentations.
