DNSFilter’s mission is to protect our customers and partners with products they love to use! We are revolutionizing network security by providing fast, accurate, and reliable threat protection and content filtering. We're a rapidly growing company dedicated to creating a safer internet for businesses and organizations worldwide. Leveraging AI-driven threat intelligence, DNSFilter empowers our customers to proactively block threats before they impact their networks. We foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented culture where every team member contributes to our mission of making the internet safer.

As we continue our product-fueled growth by adding new features and broadening our solution to meet the needs of the global market, it's clear there's a missing piece. That's where you come in!

We are seeking a hands-on, outcome-driven Director of Demand Generation to own the marketing-sourced pipeline and fuel the company's rapid growth. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role is solely accountable for pipeline creation and measurable impact across all channels. You will work closely with the entire Go-to-Market team, including Sales, RevOps, Product Marketing, Partners, and Account Management. While direct experience in Cybersecurity is ideal, strong SaaS marketing experience is highly valued.

This is an execution-focused role, not a strategy-only one, to generate an actionable sales pipeline. We are building a lean, high-performance marketing engine that requires a leader prepared to lead from the front. You must be someone who rolls up their sleeves, ships campaigns, analyzes results daily, and continuously optimizes. We are exclusively seeking experienced builders and doers who are energized by building, testing, learning, and scaling in a high-growth environment. Qualified candidates must be comfortable using Asana and can update a PMO.
Eligible candidates have and can work successfully in a small to mid-sized fast-paced, hyper-growth, SaaS start-up or scale-up, and can work full-time ET hours.

We recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job. If you feel like this job is for you, please apply. We believe diversity of experience and skills, including transferable skills, combined with passion, is a key to innovation and excellence; therefore, we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply to our positions!
To Qualify for this role, You Have:

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS demand generation or growth marketing roles
  • Proven ownership of meaningful pipeline targets
  • Deep hands-on experience running multi-channel demand programs
  • Strong analytical skills — you know how to diagnose funnel issues and fix them
  • Experience working closely with Sales and RevOps in a GTM environment
  • Comfort operating in lean teams where everyone executes
  • A bias toward action and accountability
  • Experience managing agencies and small internal teams
  • Strong operational discipline with creative instincts
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast change
  • Ability to work ET hours

Bonus points for:

  • Cybersecurity industry experience
  • MSP experience

At DNSFilter, You Will:

  • Be expected to move quickly, experiment intelligently, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Own marketing-sourced pipeline and campaign performance end-to-end
  • Build, launch, measure, and optimize demand programs across: Paid media, Website and conversion paths, Email and lifecycle, Content syndication, and Field and partner campaigns
  • Constantly evaluate: What’s working? What’s not? Why? What needs to change — now?
  • Partner deeply with Sales, RevOps, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure tight GTM alignment
  • Lead and coach the Campaigns Marketing Manager
  • Manage and drive outcomes with our paid media agency
  • Guide our web/digital lead and marketing operations personnel to improve conversion, attribution, and velocity
  • Build forecasting models and dashboards to track pipeline, ROI, and funnel performance
  • Optimize budgets aggressively based on performance, not assumptions
  • Turn data into action — fast

We Offer:

  • Pathway to promotion to additional organizational positions and responsibilities based upon results and performance, not just time in the chair.  You help us grow, and we will help you grow.
  • Passionate and intelligent colleagues who work hard and have a good time doing it
  • Paid company-wide week off at the end of each year
  • Flexible Vacation Policy
  • Awesome company swag
  • Full medical, dental, and vision benefits for US, UK, and Canada-based employees
  • Full short-term disability and life benefits; available long-term disability
  • Retirement savings account options with vested company matching for qualifying employees
  • In-person annual gatherings. Last time we all spent a week on a beach in the Dominican Republic!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
