Who we are:

Third Way Health (www.thirdway.health) is on a mission to make healthcare easier to access, easier to deliver, and more human. We partner with healthcare organizations to help patients get the care they need while reducing the administrative burden placed on clinicians, staff, and care teams.

By combining technology with high-touch services, including AI-enabled agents, scheduling technology, and operational support, we help healthcare organizations improve patient access, reduce no-shows, and operate more efficiently. Our work sits at the intersection of access, experience, and operational performance, supporting both patients and the teams who care for them.

We believe that sustainable improvement in healthcare comes from long-term partnerships grounded in trust, transparency, and measurable outcomes. Our team works closely with providers, payers, and other healthcare organizations across the country to deliver real-world impact at scale, so clinicians can focus on care, patients can access services more easily, and healthcare systems can work better for everyone.

About the position:

We are hiring our first Director of Demand Generation to own how Third Way Health shows up in the market and to build a predictable, high-quality inbound growth engine.

This is a hands-on, builder role. You will start as a team of one, rolling up your sleeves to define our positioning and messaging, build our content and campaigns, own our website, events, podcast, and sales and marketing collateral, and create the systems that turn interest into MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline. Over time, you will build and lead a team under you.

Your core KPI is simple and unambiguous: drive high-quality inbound leads and pipeline from our ICP.

You will own our narrative and “right to win” in the market, decide how and where we invest our conference and field marketing budget, launch a flagship Third Way Health customer event, hire and manage writers and creators, ensure our content actually gets distributed, and work closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership to continuously sharpen our story and go-to-market.

What success looks like

Within 12 months, Third Way Health has a clear, differentiated market position, a website that converts, a consistent stream of high-quality inbound MQLs and SQLs, sales teams equipped with outstanding collateral, a content and media engine that compounds, and a repeatable demand motion that is no longer outbound-dependent.

Who you are

You are a senior B2B demand generation leader who has built inbound engines before and owned pipeline numbers, ideally in healthcare or a complex B2B services or SaaS environment. You understand how to market to medical practices and health systems (or can learn new healthcare segments quickly). You are both strategic and deeply execution-oriented, excited to be the first hire, and motivated to build something from zero to one before scaling it to one to many.

Why this role is special

You will define how Third Way Health goes to market, own the narrative and the pipeline, and build the entire demand engine from the ground up, with direct impact on the company’s growth trajectory.

Benefits & Perks We Offer:

  • The opportunity to directly improve the healthcare experience for hundreds of thousands of patients and healthcare teams
  • A dynamic, growing organization with ongoing development opportunities
  • Competitive compensation
  • A multicultural environment with offices in 2 countries
  • Competitive Benefits package (incl. Healthcare, vision, and dental insurance)
  • Unlimited PTO for vacation, sick and mental health days–we encourage everyone to take at least 20 days of vacation per year to ensure dedicated time to spend with loved ones, explore, rest and recharge

Compensation:

  • OTE for this role falls between $140-$170k, depending on candidate experience and qualifications

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
