As the Director at D2C Commercial Partnerships:

What you'll do:

  • Lead all Direct to Consumer and Physical retail campaigns which includes, but not limited to; product planning and setup, ecommerce operations, retail campaign development,  customer service, vendor partnerships and performance tracking for full artist roster.
  • Develop and implement customized strategies for each artist to build sustainable D2C businesses.
  • Identify new product areas and revenue opportunities within the market and provide thought leadership on creative artist offerings.
  • Analyze release schedule and identify appropriate projects to integrate physical products into the fabric of campaign rollout.
  • Utilize customer relationship management tools to maximize impact of targeted D2C campaigns.
  • Communicate clearly on perimeters around campaigns and timelines for planning.
  • Proactively problem solve to deliver solutions for artists on time and on budget.
  • Build relationships with music and merch vendors to have a network of options to offer artists and label.
  • Coordinate with relevant industry bodies for approvals on chart eligibility for products.
  • Work with analytics team to manage projections across all D2C and physical projects.
  • Work with internal digital and media buying teams to coordinate campaigns to effectively promote physical campaigns.

Who you are:

  • Have at least 7+ years of experience in music industry and direct to consumer business
  • Highly experienced with direct to consumer and ecommerce set ups. Solid experience in this area is a must have for this role.
  • Experienced with physical retailers, including big box, brick and mortar indies and non-traditional outlets
  • Comfortable in a high paced, nuanced work environment
  • Have a customer service mind-set
  • Passionate about fashion, collectables and consumer goods
  • Have an intermediate understanding of the live touring business for music artists
  • Interested in creative design
  • Experience and understanding of inventory assessment
  • Flexible; This includes ability to travel, multi-task on complex projects, work outside of standard work hours (late nights, weekends, etc.)
  • Comfortable taking direction from multiple Commercial leaders

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

$100,000$135,000 USD
