The Director, Corporate Strategy will be a key member of the Corporate Strategy team, supporting the execution of SPE’s strategic direction under the guidance of the EVP, Corporate Strategy. This role will focus on developing and executing strategic analyses, managing key initiatives, and providing insights and recommendations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the EVP, Corporate Strategy and senior leadership team in the development and execution of SPE’s long-range strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
Lead and manage strategic projects, including market analyses, competitive assessments, business case development, and evaluation of new business opportunities.
Drive the day-to-day execution of the corporate strategic planning process, including mid-range planning (MRP) and other long-term planning deliverables.
Conduct financial and strategic analyses to assess business performance, industry dynamics.
Support strategic decision-making by developing clear, insightful presentations and recommendations for senior management.
Work cross-functionally with divisions and functions across SPE to ensure alignment between corporate strategy and divisional initiatives.
Coordinate with external advisors and consultants on strategic initiatives as needed.
Support the EVP, Corporate Strategy in tracking and reporting progress against key strategic priorities and initiatives.
Contribute to the development of an inclusive, high-performing, and collaborative Corporate Strategy team culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting or related strategic roles, preferably within the media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex strategic analyses and present findings to senior executives.
Strong analytical and financial skills with proven experience in modeling, market sizing, and business case development.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Proven ability to work effectively across diverse teams and influence without authority.
Highly motivated self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Deep understanding of the media and entertainment landscape, including emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and new technologies.
