WHAT IS THE POSTION

The Director, Consumer Marketing drives the strategic development and execution of consumer marketing initiatives to expand the eCommerce business and increase online sales for the Apex Learning Virtual School, targeting parents directly. This role entails building out and leading the full consumer marketing funnel, strategic approach and operational execution across all major eCommerce marketing channels, ensuring alignment with organizational growth objectives and consumer needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build out and lead the Consumer Marketing function, standing up a high-performing team to drive the eCommerce growth strategy.
  • Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive e-commerce marketing strategy to drive growth and achieve targeted purchase increases.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of full-funnel marketing campaigns to enhance customer acquisition at both national and segmented levels, ensuring alignment with the broader eCommerce strategy.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through rigorous testing to enhance engagement and conversion rates across all eCommerce channels.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, preparing detailed reports and providing strategic insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to analyze customer behavior and engagement, optimizing the eCommerce site and informing the web roadmap.
  • Lead the development and management of the marketing automation platform, driving strategic campaign planning and execution to nurture leads and encourage repeat purchases for full-time and part-time purchasers.
  • Serve as the primary strategic partner to marketing agencies, ensuring alignment on annual goals while overseeing the strategic direction, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns to maximize ROI and impact.
  • Foster strong partnerships across the marketing organization, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution, align on key initiatives, and drive integrated marketing solutions that support overall business objectives.
  • Partner with SVP to manage and optimize the eCommerce budget, ensuring a strong ROI and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in eCommerce and marketing, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of industry advancements.
  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

WHAT IS REQUIRED

  • 10+ years experience in eCommerce and digital marketing
  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, email marketing, and relevant eCommerce digital channels
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a similar discipline
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce KPIs
  • Maintain working knowledge of industry, market, and competitive landscape
  • Fosters a culture of inclusion and cross-functional collaboration
  • Demonstrates integrity, ethics, and a commitment to Edmentum’s mission and values

Pay range for this role:
$120,000$150,000 USD

At Edmentum, we are committed to pay transparency. The salary range provided reflects market research, the responsibilities of the role, and alignment with our compensation principles. Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
