Job Summary:

The Director Consumer Digital Products develops a solution strategy that fulfills our purpose, aligns with our strategic intent, and creates compelling value for customers. They are responsible for directing individuals and product teams involved in the ideation, evaluation, design, development, commercialization, and delivery of a specific product or group of products (solutions).

The incumbent formulates and executes long-term plans for pricing, packaging, and positioning, revenue generation, and cost/profit control. The Director of Product Innovation promotes the use of new technologies, standards, and industry-leading trends. As a critical team leader, they collaborate across the organization and with customers to strategically execute against the portfolio goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Consumer -obsessed Director with Omnichannel digital product experience to lead the design, orchestration, and evolution of frictionless, personalized, and intelligent consumer experiences across channels

  • Posses a deep understanding of conversion optimization, user experience, commercial models, and will have a proven track record in driving significant revenue growth

  • Strong leadership abilities to drive initiatives within ambiguous settings, effectively aligning functions, teams, and organizations with a proven track record in developing 0-1 digital products.

  • Ability to create a strategic vision, develop a business and execution plan for digital products and ecommerce technologies with high degrees of success in rollout while maximizing value for customers and optimizing the user experience.

  • Lead cross-functional teams and driving complex initiatives from strategy to execution, with the ability to influence technical teams across design, front-end, and back-end services

  • Clear, effective communication skills capable of distilling complex topics for diverse audiences and building alignment across teams and leadership levels, Present and facilitate executive-level sessions on Product strategies with the Executive Team with well-prepared, concise, and clear content.

  • Lead market research, sizing, and competitive activity to drive critical input into the solution strategy, business model, and go-to-market strategy to maximize financial success and strategic value. 

  • Collaborate with Product Platform and Network Technology & Operations teams to Identify new growth areas, new technology, and emerging product opportunities.  Develop product differentiation and user satisfaction by utilizing user-experience research and design processes.

  • Develop and manage relationships with key technology partners.  Ensure on-time delivery of new products and required enhancements of existing products in the specific product line.

  • Work with third party standards organizations to define standards and create an internal strategy and approach to standards adoption within the product line.

  • Partner closely with Sales and Segment Marketing to establish go-to-market strategies.

  • Develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function and growth of future talent.

Qualifications: Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of experience in related, progressive roles

  • 8+ years of experience in product strategy, product definition, product management and product launch

  • 5+ years of recent digital product and ecommerce experience

  • 3+ years of experience directly managing or supporting the management of P&L/profit contribution for a product line

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare or a field related to the business – data networks, transaction processing systems or information products

  • 5+ years of people management experience or experience in roles showing progressive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in prescription workflows or e-health routing information through physician vendor applications, pharmacy or PBM services

  • Experience in behavioral science for technical product development

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $207,700 - $253,900 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
