We are seeking an experienced Director of Consulting Services to lead and scale a high‑performing professional services organization. This leader will oversee multiple enterprise software implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with exceptional customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise solution delivery, cross‑functional team leadership, and executive‑level client engagement. This role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on involvement in complex programs, team development, and continuous improvement of delivery methodologies.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of software implementation projects on schedule, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
- Build relationships with customer executives and sponsors.
- Scope projects, create SOWs, and partner with sales to grow services revenue.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in professional services best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external constituents up to C-level.
- Plan and manage consulting team headcount, recruiting, and organizational development.
- Hire, retain, motivate, mentor, coach, and develop team members.
- Manage escalations and red accounts; work with Engineering and Product Management on implementation issues.
- Develop and monitor team and individual success metrics.
- Develop implementation methodologies, tools, and programs.
- Help develop tools for efficient implementation of NextLabs solutions.
- Own revenue and P&L targets.
- Ensure communication, knowledge transfer, and handoffs to support post-implementation.
- Define and sell new consulting and professional services offerings.
- Design and deliver strategic consulting offerings.
- Lead complex information risk and compliance management projects.
- Perform billable work such as solution architecture, consulting, project management, instruction, and related tasks.

- 3+ years in enterprise applications client engagement management.
- 5+ years managing multifunctional large enterprise implementation teams.
- 10+ years overall software development and consulting experience.
- Demonstrated success scaling and profitably growing a professional services business.
- Successful solution delivery track record.
- Strong project management, organizational management, and people management.
- Experience hiring high-performing Professional Services teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and risk management.
- Strong client relationship management and trusted-advisor presence with C-level executives.
- Experience managing technically complex, cross-organizational, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Strong presentation, executive client management, product management, and business development skills.
