The Opportunity 

As the Director of Communications, you will own and drive external marketing, public relations, and thought leadership strategies for Thinkingbox, AntiSocial, and The Heist. You will work closely with our Strategy, New Business Development, and Executive teams to shape how our agency is perceived in the industry and beyond.


This is a high-impact role for a strategic communicator who can tell our story, build relationships with media and industry stakeholders, and drive brand awareness through earned, owned, and shared media channels.

What You'll Do

  • Lead PR & Media Relations: Develop and execute a public relations strategy to secure media coverage, industry recognition, and brand visibility across key publications.
  • Craft & Amplify Our Story: Own the messaging and positioning of Thinkingbox, AntiSocial, and The Heist to ensure consistency and impact across all external communications.
  • Build Thought Leadership: Elevate our agency’s reputation by placing leadership in speaking engagements, award panels, and media interviews.
  • Drive Content Strategy: Oversee external marketing efforts, including press releases, blog content, case studies, social media, and executive communications.
  • Support Business Development: Partner with the Strategy and New Business teams to craft compelling narratives for pitches, RFPs, and industry events.
  • Manage Industry Recognition: Lead award submission strategies, speaking opportunities, and partnerships with key industry organizations.
  • Crisis & Reputation Management: Monitor media trends, manage potential reputational risks, and craft strategic responses when necessary.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in communications, PR, or marketing within an advertising agency, creative industry, or related field.
  • Proven experience securing media coverage and building relationships with journalists, editors, and industry influencers.
  • A deep understanding of the advertising, digital marketing, and creative industries.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Experience managing external communications, including PR, thought leadership, social content, and crisis communications.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with strategy, sales, leadership, and creative teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading campaigns, events, and brand initiatives.
  • A strategic and creative mindset with a passion for elevating brands and driving industry recognition.
