Job Description

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

Manage and nurture relationships with our distribution partner, The Orchard, and key global digital streaming/subscription services. These partners include Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, SoundCloud, Pandora, YouTube, Amazon Music, and more. Develop strong relationships across multiple divisions of the accounts, including content, product marketing, sponsorship, executive levels, and related third-party services.

Lead frequent partner calls and business presentations with commercial accounts. Promote all releases to The Orchard and directly to digital service providers (DSPs). Develop and implement marketing partnerships with partners to enhance the profile and consumption of Red Bull Records artists.

Oversee all physical products, solicitation, and sales with The Orchard. Advocate for physical catalog and retail campaigns.

Regularly update the label and artist teams on the status of artist campaigns, new initiatives, and other account activities.

Supervise the relationship with our merchandising partner, in collaboration with Operations, to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective products in a timely manner.

Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations on all revenue and rights-related matters.

RELEASE & DSP MARKETING STRATEGY

Direct the overall business and strategy for Red Bull Records at a partner level to maximize exposure and revenue.

Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to develop comprehensive, integrated, and impactful marketing strategies aimed at driving consumption and expanding audiences.

Develop market expertise by focusing continuously on our partners and gaining knowledge of the competitive and market environment.

Create and present compelling pitches for artists designed to excite and engage partners, and facilitate direct connections with our artists when appropriate.

Guide label marketing strategy, including pre-orders, price reductions, and marketing campaigns, based on the latest account policies. Keep updated on release anniversaries and other calendar events to activate marketing and releases around these occasions.

Lead the playlist strategy and collaborate with the label Marketing Team to build marketing campaigns with each account where applicable.

Initiate an integrated physical and e-commerce strategy by developing and utilizing a sophisticated CRM strategy to enhance sales and direct-to-fan economies.

DATA & ANALYTICS

Collaborate closely with the Manager of Global Digital Account Management to analyze analytics, market trends, and data insights in order to identify opportunities and gain an understanding of consumer behavior on streaming platforms. Interpret data in real-time to develop actionable intelligence that contributes to the development and maintenance of campaigns.

Recognize trends in music consumption, music marketing, and factors influencing consumer behavior.

Instruct the internal label team, artists, and managers on best practices for digital service providers (DSP), as well as social and marketing strategies to enhance consumption.

LEADERSHIP

Manage and mentor the Manager of Commercial Marketing, helping the label team comprehend the music marketplace and keeping them updated on changes in streaming and consumption trends.

Oversee the global release schedule, ensuring the entire roster receives adequate attention and resources.

Initiate and manage new business ideas, concepts, and products for the Red Bull Records brand.

Qualifications

5+ years prior experience at a record label or DSP managing commercial affairs.

Prior experience in account/client management, physical/digital content sales, and/or digital marketing.

Extensive knowledge of streaming analytics, clear reporting, and strategic analysis to develop actionable insights.

Must be collaborative with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Strong presentational skills to convey information and results clearly.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently.

A highly motivated self-starter with an extensive network of contacts.

Excellent time-management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Capability to solve operational, reporting, technology, and business issues to maintain efficiency.

Ability to transform broad campaign concepts into partner-specific initiatives that lead to increased sales, streams, and impressions.

Proficient in Excel, Word, and presentation tools, as well as DSP analytics (e.g., Spotify/Apple for Artists, etc.).

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $85,360 – 128,040 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
