As Director of Collector Car Financing, you’ll bring your dynamic, car-loving, entrepreneurial spirit to help to develop and grow an already successful and rapidly scaling collector car financing powerhouse in the US market.

What you’ll do.
- Originate collector car financing transactions with high-net-worth car collectors and select collector car dealers.
- Take responsibility for new financing transactions from initial inquiry to final closing, including performing client and collateral due diligence, KYC, AML, credit checks, transaction structuring and pricing, client negotiations, preparing credit paper and presenting it to Credit Committee, deal closing, and putting in place deal funding and pay-out to clients.
- Building trusted partner relationships with clients, high-end collector car dealers, private banks, lawyers and other professional advisers to high-net-worth clients, as well as key influencers in the collector car community.
- Contribute to day-to-day credit management of a portfolio of borrowing clients. Meet regularly with clients, proactively identifying credit risks.
This might describe you
- Strong experience in specialist asset finance, particularly in the automotive space.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, as the candidate will be an important part of a core team that will develop, grow, and manage an entirely new part of the company.
- Strong transactional and/or loan portfolio management experience.
- Ability to comfortably lead due diligence, structuring, and negotiations with clients that may have complex financing needs.
- Credit risk evaluation, financial analysis, and credit writing skills.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of loan documentation and negotiation experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with high levels of energy and strong work ethic.
- Skilled at proactively managing portfolio of borrowing relationships.
Other things to note
- This position can be worked as a remote position within the United States, with preference given to Detroit, MI and New York, NY.
- Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
