WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Director, Client Partnership is responsible for the day-to-day management of client relationships at the line-of-business and project levels. This role ensures client goals are met with excellence while driving mutual value for the client and the agency. The Director, Client Partnership acts as a trusted advisor, overseeing project execution, maintaining client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for growth within the account.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of client goals, industry trends, and pain points to anticipate needs.
  • Serve as a proactive problem-solver, addressing client challenges with strategic solutions.

Project and Scope Oversight

  • Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines, scope, and quality expectations.
  • Manage internal resources effectively to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.
  • Address scope-related challenges promptly, communicating clearly with clients and internal teams.

Client Satisfaction and Feedback

  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proactively resolve issues to maintain client trust and loyalty.
  • Share insights and results with clients, reinforcing the value Tangible delivers.

Business Growth and Opportunity Identification

  • Identify and present opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services that align with client needs.
  • Collaborate with the VP, Client Partnership to elevate growth opportunities for larger strategic initiatives.
  • Leverage market insights to recommend innovative approaches that expand the agency’s role.
  • Lead the development of proposals and strategies to convert new opportunities into actionable revenue streams.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively across teams and influence without direct authority to deliver exceptional client work.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Support the VP, Client Partnership in elevating insights, trends, and client opportunities.

Travel and On-Site Engagement

  • Visit client sites regularly to deepen relationships, facilitate discussions, and ensure alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to represent the agency’s leadership and vision.


QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Experience: 10+ years in client services, account management, or a related role, preferably in an agency or consulting environment. Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver exceptional results.
  • Skills: Strong relationship management, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with CRM, Google Suite, project management tools, Slack, Figma and Keynote.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Other: Regular travel for client meetings and events.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys balancing the nuances of client relationships with operational excellence, and is passionate about delivering outstanding results for both clients and the agency.
WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE
 

  • This is a full-time salaried position with a combination of base pay and incentive bonus pay. Salary range is $175,000 to $210,000 annually.
  • Tangible provides an array of benefits including paid time off / sick leave, 4% 401(k) guaranteed contributions after 6 months of employment, and the ability to purchase into a group rate for health coverage. 
  • Tangible supplies each employee with a computer, to be used for the purposes of work that will come preloaded with the software / licenses needed to do your job. Other personal equipment and peripheral devices (such as personal phones, monitors, printers, etc.) are not provided, but Tangible provides a small stipend per pay period to support personal devices and internet costs.

  • Sit or stand for extended periods using a computer, mobile device, or phone
  • Work alone or with others virtually or in an office environment
  • Travel may be requested or required based on client needs
