StackAdapt is the leading technology company that empowers marketers to reach, engage, and convert audiences with precision. With 465 billion automated optimizations per second, the AI-powered StackAdapt Marketing Platform seamlessly connects brand and performance marketing to drive measurable results across the entire customer journey. The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.

The Director, Client Analytics Partnerships is responsible for shaping the future of strategic measurement at StackAdapt. This leader will transform client analytics from a reporting function into a strategic advisory organization that helps clients make better business decisions before, during, and after every campaign.

This role sits at the intersection of client strategy, analytics, product innovation, and organizational leadership. You'll partner directly with executive stakeholders, influence the direction of our measurement capabilities, and build a team recognized for its expertise, curiosity, and ability to solve complex business problems.

You'll also lead analytics strategy across StackAdapt's priority growth verticals, including B2B, Commerce, Political, Enterprise, and HoldCos. That means becoming an expert in how these industries measure success, anticipating where they're headed, and helping both clients and internal teams stay ahead of those changes.

StackAdapt is a remote-first company; however, for this position, we are prioritizing candidates based in the Eastern or Central US to allow for regular, in-person collaboration with key clients.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead and grow a team of Client Analytics Partners, setting the vision for how strategic measurement is delivered across the organization.
  • Evolve the team from a reporting function into a trusted advisory practice that helps clients make smarter business decisions through measurement, experimentation, and analytics.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders, internally and externally, to develop long-term measurement strategies that align business objectives, marketing investments, and platform capabilities.
  • Help clients establish measurement strategies at the beginning of engagements by defining success metrics, testing plans, learning agendas, and business outcomes before campaigns launch.
  • Develop scalable frameworks that increase measurement maturity, helping clients evolve from foundational reporting to advanced optimization and business impact.
  • Define how success is measured for the organization through client adoption, strategic influence, business outcomes, executive engagement, retention, and meaningful product feedback.
  • Own analytics strategy for StackAdapt's priority verticals by developing deep expertise, staying ahead of industry changes, and translating those insights into practical guidance for clients and internal teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive client stakeholders, balancing StackAdapt's perspective with industry trends to help clients make confident, informed decisions.
  • Invest in the growth of your team through coaching, mentorship, and hands-on partnership. Lead by example, sharing knowledge openly and helping others build confidence in both technical expertise and executive consulting.
  • Build repeatable frameworks, playbooks, and best practices that allow the team to deliver consistently high-quality strategic guidance at scale.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Reporting Architecture, Data Architecture, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to influence future measurement capabilities and improve how we support clients.
  • Lead the team in adopting AI as a natural part of everyday work, using it to improve research, insight generation, communication, documentation, and operational efficiency while reserving human expertise for the moments where it matters most.
  • Continuously improve how the organization operates by identifying opportunities to simplify work, remove friction, automate repetitive tasks, and create more capacity for strategic thinking.
  • Anticipate what's next by evaluating industry trends, evolving client needs, emerging technologies, and organizational priorities to help the team stay ahead of the market.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • 10+ years of experience leading analytics, measurement, consulting, or client strategy teams.
  • Experience building and scaling high-performing organizations through thoughtful leadership, clear vision, and a commitment to developing people.
  • Deep expertise in digital measurement, experimentation, attribution, marketing analytics, and performance measurement.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect analytics to meaningful business decisions and executive conversations.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior executives and becoming a trusted advisor on complex business challenges.
  • Expertise in Enterprise, B2B, Commerce, Ecommerce, HoldCos, or similar industries, or a demonstrated ability to quickly become a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrated success building frameworks, methodologies, or consulting approaches that improve client outcomes and organizational effectiveness.
  • AI fluency. You naturally incorporate AI into how you research, solve problems, communicate, and lead teams. You're excited to experiment with new capabilities, share what works, and help others become more effective without losing sight of the human relationships that define great consulting.
  • A builder's mindset. You enjoy creating new capabilities, improving how work gets done, and leaving teams stronger than you found them.
  • A collaborative leadership style. You build trust through action, invite different perspectives, give credit generously, and raise the quality of work by making the people around you better.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
