About The Role

Responsible for delivering actionable insights that enhance client value, drive business growth, and improve operational efficiency. This role shapes and executes the organization’s benchmarking and survey strategies for non-medical employee benefits, including insurance products (Life, AD&D, Disability, Dental, Vision, Voluntary) and related employer practices. The Director develops scalable frameworks, innovative approaches, and data-driven solutions aligned with organizational goals and market trends. Acting as a strategic advisor, this role ensures benchmarking and survey initiatives remain relevant, impactful, and collaborative across internal teams and external stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Partner with teammates to understand the market dynamics and business needs of clients as it relates to structured and unstructured data.
  • Define and lead the overall direction of client benchmarking and survey initiatives in alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards.
  • Leverage and elevate business intelligence solutions to deliver meaningful insights and measurable ROI for internal and external clients.
  • Lead projects and initiatives across areas of specialization and expertise.
  • Design scalable models and frameworks that support current and future-state business needs.
  • Make recommendations to leadership for key areas of investment in tools, technologies and other infrastructure.
  • Serve as team leader for Client Engagement Associate, coordinating day-to-day activities to ensure seamless execution of benchmarking deliverables.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Actively engage with internal clients to understand their needs and deliver structured benchmarking information.
  • Provide strategic insights that inform client decisions and drive sustainable business growth.
  • Design and maintain benchmarking data integrity, ensuring it remains current, accurate, and insightful.
  • Implement innovative approaches to evolve and market data solutions as the business grows.

Skills Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of related experience in a similar position
  • Deep expertise with Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Ability to anticipate trends, identify opportunities and align initiatives with business goals
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure seamless coordination across teams.
  • Skilled in designing scalable, forward-thinking solutions that evolve with market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, inspire performance, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Advanced training in data analytics and visualization tools (preferably Power BI)
  • Working knowledge of CRM technology and history of leveraging these systems for data gathering (experience with Salesforce strongly preferred).
  • Working knowledge of employee benefits and group insurance.
  • Training and/or coursework related to project management and organizational change management.
