We are seeking a Director of Business Development to lead the strategic direction of our sales and go-to-market initiatives. This executive-level role will be responsible for architecting and executing a comprehensive business development strategy that accelerates revenue growth, expands market reach, and strengthens Badger’s position as a leader in retail automation. The ideal candidate will bring a visionary approach to sales leadership, market development, and partner engagement, while also managing and mentoring a high-performing team.

What will you do?

Sales Strategy Leadership

  • Define and lead the overarching sales strategy for Badger Technologies, aligning with corporate objectives and market dynamics.
  • Drive execution of sales plans that deliver measurable growth across direct and indirect channels.

Go-to-Market Strategy Development

  • Design and implement scalable go-to-market strategies that position Badger’s solutions effectively across retail, technology, and enterprise sectors.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and impact.

New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities with retailers, technology partners, and enterprise clients.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships that open new markets and drive adoption of Badger’s solutions.

Channel Expansion & Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop and grow channel partnerships to extend Badger’s reach and influence.
  • Establish long-term alliances that support sustainable revenue growth and market penetration.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Business Development Specialists.
  • Set clear performance goals, foster a culture of accountability, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies that reinforce Badger’s leadership in the market.

Executive Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Represent Badger Technologies in high-stakes negotiations and strategic discussions.

What is the experience needed to be successful in role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or strategic partnerships within the technology sector, specifically retail automation, robotics, or AI.
  • Proven success in leading go-to-market strategies and driving revenue growth through innovative technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale channel partnerships and enterprise relationships.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing sales or business development teams.
  • Deep understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and distribution center practices.
  • Familiarity with retail analytics, syndicated data, planogram systems, and OEM environments is a plus.

The pay range for this role is $159,600 - $287,200. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: November 30, 2025.

As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self. These include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans; paid time off accruing at a rate of 3.07 hours during your first year of employment; 4 weeks of paid parental leave; in 2025, 11 company-paid holidays (9 fixed holidays and 2 optional floating holidays), subject to change yearly; 401(k) retirement plan; and employee stock purchase plan.
