The Director of Brand and Product Marketing leads how Sequencing shows up in the world and how customers understand what we sell. You own our brand story, our product positioning, and how we bring new whole genome and health insight products to market so more people can outsmart their genes. You report to the marketing leader and work across product, science, growth, and customer teams to turn complex genomics into clear, human language that drives trust, adoption, and revenue.

- Lead brand campaigns that grow awareness, trust, and preference among health conscious consumers, healthcare professionals, and research partners.
- Develop clear narratives and content that support our mission to make genomic health insights accessible, actionable, and meaningful for everyone.
- Work with growth marketing to align brand and product messaging with performance channels so we tell one simple, powerful story from first touch to long term customer.
- Guide the look and feel of key assets like the website, landing pages, email templates, and educational content so they match our brand and help people make confident health decisions.
- Use customer research, testing, and data to refine messaging, offers, and experiences that improve conversion, activation, and ongoing product usage.
- Enable sales, partnerships, and customer support with clear product one pagers, decks, FAQs, and talk tracks grounded in our brand and product strategy.
- Steward our voice and tone guidelines so every communication sounds like Sequencing and supports our position in genomics and personalized health.
- Build simple processes that keep brand and product marketing work organized, measurable, and aligned with company goals.
- 8+ plus years leading brand and product marketing with ownership of positioning, messaging, and go to market for consumer, health, or tech products.
- Experience shaping brand and product strategy for a science driven or health related company where trust, clarity, and accuracy matter.
- Strength in developing brand positioning, story frameworks, and voice guidelines that non marketers can use in their daily work.
- Proven ability to lead cross functional initiatives with product, science, design, growth, and leadership and to influence without heavy processes.
- Hands on experience bringing technical or data heavy products to market, ideally in biotech, genomics, health tech, or consumer health.
- Ability to write clear positioning, value props, and customer stories that tie genomic insights and whole genome sequencing to real health outcomes so people can outsmart their genes.
- Skill at turning complex genomics and bioinformatics topics into plain language content that feels human, confident, and easy to understand.
- Comfort building go to market plans and launch playbooks across web, lifecycle, content, and partner channels and measuring what works.
- Experience enabling sales, partnerships, and customer support with simple, accurate product narratives, training, and collateral.
- Comfort setting up simple brand and product health measures and using data, testing, and customer research to refine messaging and focus.
- Experience working in a remote, fast moving environment and communicating clearly in writing and async tools as part of Sequencing.
