Role Overview
We are seeking a Director of Automation Services to design and implement a comprehensive approach to AI-enabled service catalog automation and lead a team focused on automation delivery. This role will be responsible for defining service offerings, building scalable automation processes, and ensuring seamless execution of deliverables for clients. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership to create an automation framework that enhances efficiency and client satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Service Catalog Automation
- Document full service catalogs across client base
- Design and maintain AI-enabled service catalog automation
- Define standards, workflows, and documentation for each service offering.
- Team Leadership & Management
- Build and lead a high-performing team of 5–8 professionals focused on automation development and delivery.
- Provide mentorship, set performance goals, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Automation Process Design & Execution
- Develop and implement automated processes to deliver services outlined in the catalog.
- Oversee end-to-end automation lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance in all automation solutions.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Capture and analyze reports to measure impact and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into automation solutions.
- Drive continuous optimization of automation processes to enhance efficiency and client experience.
- Build out “best in class” suite for new clients
Requirements
- Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in process automation, service delivery, or operations management.
- Proven results in leading high-potential teams and driving team building and transformation initiatives.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Skills
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks, workflow design, and process optimization.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and their application in service delivery (not necessarily deep technical AI skills).
- Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Preferred
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., RPA platforms, workflow orchestration tools).
- Background in service catalog development or IT service management.

Location: This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $138,000 to $180,000.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
