Key Responsibilities
Attribution & Performance Measurement
• Own the strategy, governance, and evolution of cross-channel attribution and performance measurement.
• Define the right measurement approach—attribution, experimentation, MMM, platform measurement, or other methods—based on the business question.
• Translate measurement insights into recommendations for investment, audience strategy, channel optimization, creative, and growth.
Experimentation & Learning
• Lead the Test & Learn roadmap, converting strategic questions into hypotheses, test plans, success criteria, and analytical outputs.
• Guide incrementality studies, lift analyses, geo tests, holdouts, and other causal measurement approaches.
• Operationalize validated learnings through documentation, decision tracking, and scalable adoption across campaigns.
Measurement Frameworks & Benchmarking
• Develop frameworks that connect business goals, marketing objectives, channel roles, KPIs, and optimization signals.
• Establish benchmarking and goal-setting methodologies across tiers, campaigns, audiences, channels, and funnel stages.
• Maintain standards, documentation, and points of view that create consistency in measurement planning and reporting.
Client Leadership
• Serve as a trusted advisor to marketing, media, and executive stakeholders on advanced measurement strategy.
• Translate complex methodologies into clear business implications and executive-ready recommendations.
• Lead measurement discussions, workshops, and planning sessions while managing risks, expectations, and stakeholder alignment.
Cross-Functional & Team Leadership
• Partner across analytics, media, activation, operations, creative, account, and technology teams to align measurement with business needs.
• Collaborate with external partners, platforms, and measurement providers to validate methodologies and drive execution.
• Lead through influence, creating clarity across teams with diverse priorities, technical depth, and definitions of success.
• Coach and develop talent while fostering curiosity, accountability, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
• 8+ years in marketing analytics, media analytics, measurement science, data science, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with attribution, incrementality testing, experimental design, MMM, or performance modeling.
• Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts while preserving methodological integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, econometrics, mathematics, data science, marketing analytics, business, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with media and measurement platforms such as ad servers, DSPs, analytics platforms, clean rooms, or identity graphs.
Preferred
• Agency or client-side experience in a senior measurement or analytics leadership role.
• Familiarity with Python, R, SAS, SQL, or equivalent analytical environments.
• Experience developing learning agendas, measurement frameworks, benchmarks, or methodology points of view.
• Master’s degree in a quantitative, analytical, or business-related discipline.
