We are seeking a dynamic and technically accomplished Director of AIDA R&D Advanced AI & Data Ecosystem Product Management to lead the technical product management function for our AI, Data, and Analytics platform supporting pharmaceutical R&D. This role is critical to building and scaling the foundational platform capabilities that power advanced analytics, machine learning, and data science across the R&D organization.
Reporting to the Head of AIDA RD Advanced AI & Data Ecosystem, this role will define and execute the platform strategy that supports cross R&D solution delivery, ensuring alignment with scientific goals, regulatory requirements, and enterprise digital strategy. You will lead a team of product managers and analysts and collaborate closely with product, data science, and Digital partners to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance capabilities.
In this role your team will enable the ecosystem that is foundational to the AIDA RD organization to lead large, complex, strategic projects tied to R&Ds ambitious goals. The right person will have a strong background in platform product management and agile software delivery, and the ability to adjust their learned approach to fit the needs of the team, our stakeholders, and our culture.

- Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Advanced AI & Data Ecosystem within AIDA R&D
- Lead and grow a high-performing team of product managers and analysts

- Partner with R&D, Digital, to align platform product strategy with scientific and business priorities
- Partner with AIDA Portfolio and Operations leadership, AIDA R&D AI & Data product leadership, AIDA Platforms leadership, and R&D Platform leadership to connect portfolio and product delivery practices
Technical Platform Product Management Excellence
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the ecosystem from ideation and design to delivery and continuous improvement
- Ensure the ecosystem and its reuseable components are designed with a deep understanding of user needs, scientific workflows, developer needs, and any regulatory constraints
- Champion agile product development practices and iterative delivery models
- Establish and track KPIs to measure ecosystem success, adoption, and impact
- Partner with AIDA Portfolio and Operations leadership to establish consistency of delivery practices as well as with other Digital platform organizations
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Primary liaison between solution delivery teams and platform teams to manage reusable capability opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and platform teams to ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery
- Engage with external partners, vendors, and academic collaborators to accelerate innovation and expand capabilities
- Be the main interface between relevant teams to ensure adoption of platform management best practices as well as contributing back what works well and what doesn't work well in delivery

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Engineering, or related discipline)
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in technical project delivery/product management, with at least 3 years focused on AI, data, analytics products or highly complex multi-solution programs crossing BUs or digital capabilities
- Proven track record of building and operating large-scale data and ML platforms in a scientific or regulated environment
- Experience in pharma, biotech, or healthcare is highly desirable.
- Proven success working in matrixed organizations and building trusted partnerships with science, data, and technical teams
- Exposure to domains such as research, real-world data, or clinical informatics
- Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry, particularly in R&D or translational research
- Familiarity with GxP, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements related to R&D data
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and cross-functional team leadership
