We are seeking a Director, AANHPI Student Achievement Program, to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. What You’ll Do
The Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Student Achievement Program (SAP) offers an exciting opportunity to further develop integrated culturally responsive student support services and curriculum to promote wellness and academic success of underserved AANHPI and other historically marginalized student populations within the California Community College system.
The Foundation for California Community Colleges (FoundationCCC) is supporting the AANHPI Student Achievement Program by operating a Central Office to implement the program’s strategic vision and provide technical assistance and support to participating colleges and the system more broadly.
The Director (AANHPI SAP) will serve as a member of the Foundation for California Community Colleges Equity department leadership team, driving strategies to support a work environment of excellence and shared leadership, to support the Foundation’s overarching goal in promoting student success, to lead by operational hands-on example. The Director will serve as an internal expert on program evaluation, outcome monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and metric driven methodology.

Lead program planning and implementation and communicate effectively, ensuring alignment with Vision 2030 with key partners, including California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, CAPIAA, APAHE, colleges, government agencies, affinity groups, and others

Monitor and evaluate outcomes of the Equity Department goals, specific AANHPI SAP funding deliverables, and the program budget

Oversee successful staff performance assessments, and trainings
Attributes for Success

Experience working with the AANHPI community is required and experience working within the California Community College system is highly desired.

Experience preparing, overseeing and maintaining program budgets

Knowledge of relevant federal, state, local laws, regulations, contractual legal principles, and the ability to prepare, read, analyze and draft legal documents, contracts and/or corporate records

Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range:
$110,000.00 - $120,000.00
Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
