* Job Summary
* The Director of Vendor Management leads strategic oversight of CDW's Managed Services contracts, including Genpact and other EBO service providers. This role drives business value through advanced commercial and contract management, service performance optimization, and executive-level relationship management. The Director will champion vendor governance, innovation funding, and risk mitigation strategies across the enterprise.
* What you'll do
* Lead strategic vendor relationships, including onboarding, performance tracking, and contract execution.
* Provides key expertise to assist in supplier oversight, such as:
* Service level agreement monitoring
* Pricing negotiations, methods, and practices
* Contract management (including change requests, SOWs, contract assessments)
* Formal Issues and Disputes Management
* Supplier risk review & perform key risk mitigation
* Administration of the legal contract with Supplier
* Manage supplier risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
* Direct supplier governance activities, including executive business reviews.
* Ensure seamless transitions of vendor activities with minimal disruption.
* Monitor total investment and financial commitments across vendor portfolios.
* Lead monthly financial reviews, budgeting, and compliance audits.
* Govern transformation funding and co-innovation initiatives.
* Define differentiated engagement models for various vendor segments.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve vendor issues and enhance performance.
* What we expect of you:
* Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, contract management, IT service management, or strategic sourcing.
* Proven leadership in managing complex vendor ecosystems and delivering measurable business outcomes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of risk management and risk assessment principles
* Strong business acumen, with a solid track record of delivering results
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to influence and lead those you do not directly manage
* Has a growth mindset regarding change - embracing change to improve the organization
* Acts as a supportive change agent and plans/participates in communication planning as applicable
* Demonstrate empathy, build trust, and create a positive and supportive work environment. Experience resolving conflict and managing diverse perspectives
* Experience with e-procurement systems, vendor risk management, regulated industries, or PMP certification is a plus.
