Mspark is a pioneering data & marketing technology company that bridges the gap between targeted marketing and real-world impact. We specialize in creating seamless, omni-channel experiences for consumers. Our platform integrates cutting-edge digital advertising across display, video, CTV, Meta, Google and DOOH with sophisticated, data-driven direct mail campaigns. We help the world’s top brands create a cohesive customer journey that drives measurable results online and offline.

The Digital Strategist will support the Senior Digital Strategist & Product Manager in developing and executing Mspark Media’s digital sales enablement initiatives. This role plays a key part in bridging strategy and execution — helping sales teams understand, position, and sell Mspark’s digital advertising solutions effectively.

This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who’s passionate about digital advertising strategy, enjoys collaborating across teams, and wants to grow into a subject matter expert in digital advertising and product strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the Senior Digital Strategist to build proposals and strategies that communicate the value and capabilities of Mspark’s digital products. Support Account Executives with proposal content, strategic recommendations, and product insights that align omni-channel solutions to client goals.
  • Assist in translating Mspark’s digital product strategy into clear sales narratives, use cases, and go-to-market materials for Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to help organize and prepare internal training sessions for sales teams — including presentation decks, product reference sheets, FAQs, and follow-up materials.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop visually engaging proposals, one-pagers, and case studies for digital product offerings.
  • Maintain working relationships with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure strategies are properly moved from pre-sale to post-sale execution.
  • Gather feedback from sales teams and clients to identify opportunities for upsell, improvement in strategy process, and closing the loop from pre-sale to post-sale.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Client Experience teams to ensure cohesive communication and consistent understanding of Mspark’s digital strategy and product suite.
  • Stay current on digital advertising trends, platforms, and industry updates to contribute new insights and strengthen Mspark’s go-to-market approach.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong understanding or interest in digital advertising concepts (Search, Social, Display, CTV, DOOH, Data, Attribution, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, sales-friendly messaging.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills for proposal and collateral development.
  • High attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel); familiarity with CRM or project management tools a plus.
  • Collaborative team player who takes initiative and seeks to learn from experienced strategists.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field, required.
  • 2-3 years of experience (including internships) in sales enablement, marketing strategy, or digital advertising support, required.
  • Exposure to digital media products or platforms (Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, etc.), preferred.
  • Experience developing sales materials or marketing collateral, preferred.
  • Google, IAB, or related certifications, preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
