Job Description

This position is only open to candidates currently pursuing their associates degree from a community college or trade school. Those currently pursuing their bachelors degree or higher will not be considered for this role.

Early Career Apprentice Program

Want to work in your field and train on the job? Join our 12–24-month apprentice program! You will earn and learn on the job, receive career guidance and mentorship, all while attending school. Allstate will also provide tuition assistance and hands-on training in digital project management and internal communications.

Law & Regulation – Digital Project Manager & Internal Communications Apprentice

Your role as a Digital Project Manager & Internal Communications Apprentice will expose you to digital strategy, employee engagement initiatives, and cross-functional project management within Allstate’s Law & Regulation department. Through hands-on work, you will gain valuable experience in web content management, internal communications, and project coordination.     Our apprentice program is designed to prepare you for future careers in digital project management, corporate communications, and intranet content strategy at Allstate.

Location: Remote

Start Date: August 2025

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Communications, Digital Media, Business Administration, Project Management, or other relevant fields preferred.
  • Candidates with strong organizational and technical skills are encouraged to apply.

Work Authorization:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Core Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills—ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to craft clear, engaging content.
  • Familiarity with web content management systems and basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Analytical mindset—ability to assess engagement data and provide recommendations.
  • Self-starter—someone who takes initiative, collaborates effectively, and proactively identifies solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Viva, or other intranet platforms is a plus.

Digital Project Manager & Internal Communications Apprentice Responsibilities:

As an apprentice in this role, you’ll play a key part in managing digital projects and optimizing internal communication channels. You’ll:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating digital projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
  • Support the maintenance and development of the company intranet by updating content and ensuring accuracy.
  • Gather and analyze user engagement data to improve employee experience and optimize content strategy.
  • Create how-to guides and training materials for intranet users.
  • Support internal communication campaigns and messaging while leveraging the intranet as a key communication tool.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and Strategy & Legal Operations to ensure intranet updates align with company goals.

Compensation: As an Apprentice, you will work part-time, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, with an hourly pay rate between $18 - 25/hr. Benefits are also available.
