About the Role

Why the Job Exists

We’re looking to scale up one of our current programmes, amplifying authoritative individuals with a story to tell through press, TV and radio. We need another member to join an existing team working closely together across the US & UK in 2026.

What the Job Covers

  • Implementing strategy to amplify profiles of key individuals across media, TV, radio and podcasts in line with guidelines set by Digital PR Manager.
  • Placing expert comment and profile on leading media platforms across the US market including press, TV, radio and podcasts. Expertly cutting through industry noise to ensure results.
  • Communicating with key experts across multiple industries via best-in-class communications appropriate for leading industry figures as required.
  • Best practice media relations: creating press releases and pitches with guidance from Digital PR Manager, preparing media lists for client, assisting Digital PR Manager in creating reporting decks as required.

What you'll do

  • Work closely with Digital PR Manager and wider account team to implement compelling expert promotions strategy that consistently achieves KPIs, while following best practice guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong personal relationships with key US publishers (journalists, producers and podcasters), entailing identification of key publications through social media, use of journalist databases, real engagement with online communities and attending industry events.
  • Maintain and develop press, blog and media contact database, as well as creating relevant contact lists for expert profile amplification.
  • Place expert comment, interviews and opinion pieces from experts with Tier One media across the US market, both local and national.
  • Monitor the news cycle for reactive opportunities for expert placement.
  • Ad hoc related tasks as required. 

Reporting structure

  • This role reports to the Digital PR Manager.
  • This role attends Digital PR team meetings and further project meetings as requested.

About You

Required Experience

  • 2+ years work in the PR industry.
  • Proven track record of placing coverage with top tier media titles in the US across multiple different industries, both on a local and a national level.
  • Experience of working with high profile individuals within the US market – for example C-Suite professionals, celebrities or college professors/researchers.
