Position Summary:
The Digital Partnership Account Executive is responsible for driving growth, engagement, and expansion across Coterie’s digital, embedded, and API-enabled distribution partnerships. This role will focus on increasing partner adoption, optimizing digital performance, expanding platform utilization, and strengthening strategic relationships with technology-enabled partners.

 

The Digital Partnership Account Executive serves as the primary commercial owner for assigned digital and embedded partnerships and collaborates closely with Digital Partner Success Managers, Technology, Insurance, and Revenue Operations teams to ensure partners achieve growth, adoption, and performance objectives.

 

This role requires a strong blend of relationship management, analytical thinking, strategic planning, and operational collaboration to support modern insurance distribution models.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans for assigned digital and API-enabled partner accounts.
  • Drive premium growth, platform adoption, and engagement across embedded and technology-enabled partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partner executives, product leaders, operations teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular business reviews focused on growth opportunities, adoption metrics, and operational performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve user activation, conversion, platform utilization, and product adoption.
  • Collaborate with Insurance and Technology teams to support integration enhancements and partner enablement initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Digital Partner Success Manager to support operational success and issue resolution.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including quote volume, bind growth, active users, conversion rates, and partner engagement.
  • Support strategic initiatives related to embedded insurance, APIs, digital distribution, and platform expansion.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and account planning documentation in Salesforce.
  • Represent Coterie at partner meetings, technology conferences, and industry events as needed.
  • Identify and escalate opportunities and risks impacting partner growth and adoption. Conduct training, education, and enablement sessions for partner teams.
  • Partner with Marketing, Insurance, and Revenue Operations teams to support partner growth initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and proactive relationship management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, Insurance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, digital distribution, SaaS, embedded insurance, API partnerships, or commercial insurance sales.
  • Experience working with technology-enabled platforms, APIs, or embedded insurance ecosystems preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot and sales engagement tools.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and adoption within strategic partner relationships.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product and technology teams.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong strategic relationship management and consultative selling capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of digital distribution, APIs, platform ecosystems, and embedded insurance models.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Technology, Operations, and Revenue teams.
  • Strong organizational and account planning skills.
  • Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance distribution preferred.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Problem solving mindset.

Our interview process:

Our hiring process generally consists of 4 phases. The goal is to provide an opportunity for us to learn more about our candidates while allowing them to get to know us as well!

  • Phase 1: Qualified candidates will first meet with a member of our People Operations team for a phone interview.  This discussion is a high-level conversation to understand more about your background and interests and for us to share more about Coterie and the position.
  • Phase 2: Selected candidates will be invited to meet with a member of our hiring team for a 2nd interview via Teams video. This interview is designed to be more detail oriented and allows you to learn more about the role and expected to be 30 minutes in length.
  • Phase 3: Top candidates will be invited to participate in an experiential exercise interview. This will include a project provided in advance along with a 45minute - 1-hour interview (s) conducted with our hiring team.
  • Phase 4: Final candidates will receive an invite to our final interview series. This series will include 1:1 interviews with a member of our senior leadership team. The final interview is roughly 45 minutes.

  • Annual salary estimated between $100,000-$150,000 + VC based on national data. Candidates who meet all the minimum requirements and possess additional relevant experience, as outlined in the job description, may be considered for a salary above the midpoint of the above range. Salary is based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; degrees or certifications, etc. 

Work Authorization:
At this time, Coterie Insurance is unable to consider candidates who require current or future visa sponsorship. Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
