Hands-on role executing, analyzing, and optimizing paid digital campaigns across paid channels. Build and QA campaigns, validate tracking (GA4, GTM), run keyword/audience research, support SEO/GEO and A/B tests, create performance reports, meet clients, and contribute to strategy and competitive analysis.

The Role

This is a true hands-on digital marketing role - not a coordinator, not a planner, and not a slide-builder.

You’ll work directly with the Director of Digital Marketing and strategists to execute, analyze, and optimize digital campaigns across paid channels. There’s no “handoff” layer. Will be working directly with a variety of agency clients across widely different industries and implementing and executing digital marketing services.

This role is designed as a launchpad. If you’re sharp, curious, and willing to learn fast, you’ll quickly grow skillsets and resume.

On any given week, you might be:

  • Building and QA’ing paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms such as Reddit and Open AI

  • Pulling performance data and helping analyze results across CPA, ROAS, CTR, CVR, and funnel metrics

  • Assisting with keyword research, audience development, and creative testing

  • Implementing SEO and GEO strategies and action items

  • Supporting A/B tests across ads, landing pages, and offers

  • Validating tracking and analytics in GA4 and ad platforms

  • Building and maintaining reports that actually get used

  • Meeting and coordinating with clients on weekly video meetings

  • Conducting competitive research and channel analysis

  • Sitting in on strategy discussions and learning how decisions are made

You’ll get real exposure to how performance marketing works in practice - not just theory.

What We’re Looking For

You’re early in your career, but you take the work seriously.

You’re curious, analytical, and interested in how digital marketing actually drives growth. You don’t need years of experience, but you do need to show that you’ve leaned into learning the craft.

You might be a fit if:

  • You’ve taken courses, certifications, internships, or built side projects in digital marketing

  • You enjoy working with data and asking “why” behind performance changes

  • You’re comfortable in spreadsheets and not afraid of numbers

  • You care about doing things correctly, not just quickly

  • You want to grow into a strong performance marketer, not just manage tasks

    Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with digital channels Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or similar platforms

  • Familiarity with CRM’s (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc)

  • Agency experience or fast-paced environments

  • Marketing certifications (Google, Meta, etc.)

How We Work
  • We value clarity over jargon

  • We test, measure, pivot, and iterate constantly

  • We keep processes lightweight but intentional

  • We give feedback early and often

  • We hire people we trust to think, not just execute

You’ll be supported, but you’ll also be expected to take ownership as you grow.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
