About the Role:

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for building and executing targeted marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels, including email, digital banking, and digital advertising platforms. This role will leverage list segmentation, campaign automation, and performance tracking to support business goals and enhance member engagement. The specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to create personalized content, optimize digital strategies through A/B testing, and ensure quality control across all digital touchpoints. Additionally, they will leverage data insights to inform marketing decisions and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and update criteria for segmentation and building lists. Play an integral role in list building and development by helping determine criteria for segmentation and personalized campaigns.

  • Build and execute promotional and/or communication assets across various digital channels, including email, digital banking, digital advertising, and digital branch marketing to achieve business goals.

  • Assemble and schedule emails while adhering to the production and approval process and ensuring accurate tracking of key metrics.

  • Participate in strategy and campaign recap meetings to uphold best email practices, provide performance reports, and identify continuous improvement tactics.    

  • Support volume goals through marketing products and services through digital marketing channels.        

  • Recommend and perform A/B testing for digital channel optimization.

  • Effectively manage email platform to automate, schedule, build, distribute, and track email campaigns.   

  • Create multiple email types: acquisition, onboarding, nurturing, cross-sell, promotional, and informational for various stages of the member journey.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Department members to enhance campaigns and improve integration across segments and channels; work closely with the Campaign Supervisor, Creative Services Team, and Product Manager to create successful digital content.

  • Plan, create, implement, and measure marketing within Connexus Digital Banking.

  • Leverage data to provide insight, discover opportunities, and support Marketing and member-facing business units.             

  • Performs QC across digital channels on a regular basis.

Position Requirements:

  • This position is Remote.

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or commensurate experience is Required.

  • 3+ years of email or digital marketing experience in a B2C environment is Required.

  • Proven experience developing e-mail campaigns, segmenting target audiences, testing, and tracking results; experience with behavioral or trigger-based e-mails.

  • Proven ability to measure and optimize e-mail campaigns across all metrics; experience designing and reporting test results that lead to quantifiable conclusions and improved performance.

  • Experience with reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI, Looker or other e-mail metric dashboards; familiarity with Adobe products, HTML coding, and SQL also desired; Microsoft Office experience required.

  • Expertise in all facets of data management and list generation (SQL, Looker, etc.)

  • Knowledge of digital marketing and email/marketing automation systems (such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Ads).
