ABOUT THE ROLE
Byte&Kite is a digital marketing agency helping clients across a range of industries grow through measurable paid and organic acquisition. In this role, you will manage digital marketing strategy and execution across multiple client accounts, working directly with client stakeholders and taking ownership of performance rather than operating through an account management layer.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Own channel strategy and budget allocation across your client accounts

  • Build, launch and optimise campaigns on Google, Meta and LinkedIn

  • Report performance monthly to clients, including what did not work

  • Manage a combined monthly media budget

  • Work with the content and SEO teams on integrated campaigns

  • Recommend budget shifts between channels based on evidence, and defend them

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years multi-channel digital marketing, agency or client-side

  • Hands-on paid media management across at least two major platforms

  • Monthly budget ownership of $20k or more

  • Attribution literacy - able to explain what your reporting can and cannot prove

  • Comfortable presenting results directly to a client

NICE TO HAVE
Agency experience; experience working across multiple client accounts; familiarity with GA4 and performance analytics; experience with conversion rate optimisation (CRO); and experience developing integrated paid, organic, content and SEO campaigns.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications, with the full package discussed during the interview process. Professional development and training opportunities. Fully remote across US time zones, with additional company benefits discussed during the interview process.

HIRING PROCESS
Application review - 30-minute conversation - paid practical exercise - discussion of your work with the team - offer.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY
Byte&Kite is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. If you need an accommodation at any stage of the process, contact our recruiting team and we will arrange it.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
