About Cro Metrics

At Cro Metrics, we’re on a mission to redefine growth for organizations and brands through unparalleled digital experiences that inspire action and deliver results. With transformative experimentation as our guide, we bridge bold ideas with practical solutions to create lasting impact.

We are a growth optimization agency that partners with mission-driven and high-growth companies to scale through data-driven experimentation. Our expertise spans A/B testing, personalization, paid media, and full-funnel digital strategy—empowering clients to make smarter decisions that drive measurable results.

Our fully remote team of strategists, analysts, engineers, and designers works across industries including eCommerce, fintech, nonprofit, and hospitality. We believe in autonomy, collaboration, and innovation as we help our clients grow smarter and faster.

About the Role

With a portfolio of creative, winning program client strategies developed from the experimentation process, the Digital Marketing Program Manager leads and delivers meaningful business outcomes through data-driven decision-making.

At Cro Metrics, we’re adding an experienced team member who enjoys building strong client relationships, solving complex problems, and finding new ways to strategize client business growth.

In this key position, you’ll take full ownership of delivering high-impact A/B testing and personalization programs for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Working closely with senior marketing and product leaders, the Program Manager guides our clients through testing strategies while collaborating with world-class engineering, design, and analytics teams. While the focus is on execution, your impact will extend far beyond—helping shape client strategies, identifying opportunities for expansion, and ensuring deliverables translate into measurable success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the experimentation process: Partner with strategy, engineering, QA, design, and analytics teams to launch and optimize A/B tests that drive performance improvements.
  • Turn ideas into action: Write clear, detailed test requirements and create annotated mockups to ensure seamless execution.
  • Be the go-to for clients: Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple clients, keeping them informed on program progress, test performance, and key insights.
  • Optimize budgets and resources: Manage program budgets, scope, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective execution.
  • Manage complexity with ease: Juggle multiple priorities across different accounts while maintaining a sharp focus on results and client satisfaction.
  • Lead client strategy and growth: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and proactively identifying new opportunities for optimization and expansion.
  • Solve problems before they arise: Anticipate roadblocks, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure smooth execution at every stage.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously learn and apply new knowledge in CRO, growth marketing, and digital experimentation to deliver best-in-class solutions.
What Makes a Great Program Manager
  • Experience writing requirements for engineers and web development projects.
  • Proven ability to lead in project management, applying multitasking skills across cross-functional teams to support collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to professionally explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and web development processes.
  • CRO experience is required—knowledgeable, hands-on A/B testing, personalization, or website optimization.
  • Growth marketing experience (preferred)—including paid media, SEO, lifecycle marketing, and retention strategies.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools is a plus.
  • Agency or professional services experience (preferred)—comfortable managing multiple clients.
  • Travel Requirement: Occasional travel is required, approximately 5–10% of the time, for client meetings and events.
What Motivates You
  • You love seeing ideas come to life and driving clarity through structure and collaboration.
  • You’re energized by managing multiple priorities and helping clients achieve measurable growth.
  • You’re passionate about using experimentation to solve complex problems.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments where curiosity and accountability drive results.
Compensation

We’re hiring for the Program Manager role, with a compensation range of $70,000–$80,000. A Senior Program Manager range ($80,000–$90,000) may be considered for candidates whose experience aligns with that scope. Final title and compensation will be determined through the interview process.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
