Job Description:

The Digital Marketing Center of Excellence (COE) Operations team supports Disney Entertainment Studios, Disney Entertainment Television, Direct-to-Consumer, and Disney Parks by delivering the operational foundation behind Disney's global digital marketing ecosystem.

The team oversees Business Operations, YouTube Operations, and Social Platform Operations while driving the centralization of tools, vendors, systems, and operational best practices. Working across Marketing, Technology, IT, Finance, Legal, Anti-Piracy, and platform partners, the team enables secure, scalable, and efficient digital marketing operations across The Walt Disney Company.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Social Operations, the Digital Marketing Operations Specialist will support day-to-day social platform operations, YouTube administration, creator program operations, vendor management, and cross-functional business processes. This role is instrumental in ensuring Disney's social and YouTube ecosystem operates efficiently while supporting marketing teams with the operational infrastructure needed to execute campaigns at scale.

What You Will Do

Social Platform Operations

  • Support day-to-day social operations, including account acquisition, setup, verification, permissions, and access management across social platforms.
  • Coordinate quarterly account audits, password resets, and permission reviews in accordance with Disney Cybersecurity and brand safety standards.
  • Support third-party platform integrations and ongoing maintenance for social management and reporting tools, including Sprinklr, Crisp, and similar platforms.
  • Create and maintain marketing distribution lists supporting the broader Digital Marketing COE.
  • Conduct regular audits of owned social channels to ensure account accuracy, compliance, and operational consistency.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and platform representatives to troubleshoot technical issues and escalate platform-related concerns.

YouTube & Creator Operations

  • Support YouTube operations, including CMS administration, channel management, monetization, policy settings, geo-targeting, and publishing workflows.
  • Coordinate YouTube and Creator program contracts, purchase orders, invoicing, payments, and budget tracking.
  • Ensure accurate financial coding and allocation across Lines of Business while maintaining regular reporting for business stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and business leaders to facilitate contract execution and proactively resolve operational roadblocks.
  • Track creator program budgets, monitor spend pacing, reconcile accruals and actuals, and provide reporting to business leaders.
  • Manage asset metadata, including series codes within Rightsline or similar asset management systems.
  • Serve as an operational liaison across Marketing, Legal, Privacy, Global Information Security, platform partners, agencies, and domestic and international teams to support campaign execution.

Operational Excellence

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements, coordinate project timelines, and communicate operational updates.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and standardize operational best practices across the Digital Marketing COE.
  • Support reporting and operational metrics that help inform business decisions and improve team effectiveness.
  • Contribute to scalable operational processes that support Disney's expanding digital marketing ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience supporting digital marketing, social media operations, marketing operations, YouTube operations, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of major social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X.
  • Experience working within the YouTube CMS ecosystem, including channel administration or backend operations.
  • Experience supporting contracts, purchase orders, invoicing, vendor management, or budget tracking.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting creator or influencer marketing programs.
  • Experience with Airtable, Sprinklr, Crisp, Salesforce, Zendesk, Dash Social or similar workflow and CRM platforms.
  • Experience working within a large, matrixed media, entertainment, or technology organization.
  • Knowledge of social platform governance, digital rights management, or content monetization.

 

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $72,000 to $96,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
